Much the same as all the other reviewers, I'll say the upsides are many. A quiet spot, a nice home with a gracious and friendly hostess. We stayed in a room with two twin beds and a private bath across the hall. The family room was nice though we were too tired to take much advantage except we sure used... More

Very nice place, all house and surroundings details arranged with great taste and care. It was rather like a family visit than plain B&B service. Katherine helped us to find best place to eat, gave detailed directions about attractions to go and drive, and helped me with my business affairs as well. Excellent family-like breakfast, lot of interesting talks. Excellent... More

My family and I stayed at this B&B early May 2015 as my introduction to the alternative to hotels. We had a room downstairs with two beds and an adjoining private bathroom. The room was very tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean (with soap/shampoo!). There was also free WiFi provided for all the patrons. There is... More

This was our first bed and breakfast experience. Our room was well lit and very clean. There was no AC and we had to rely on an open window to cool the room. The property is a split-level house. Our room was on the front of the property and therefore mostly below grade level. To access our room we had... More

We stayed at Rainbow Country B&B Sep 19-21, 2014 during a two week road trip through Southern Utah. We have to agree that the wonderful reviews of this establishment are accurate! Catherine welcomed us like long lost relatives and was a fountain of information about the area's attractions. The "Pioneer Room" was spacious and well appointed. There was absolute silence... More

Doing a road trip to National Parks in Utah. Looked for a place to stay between Bryce Canyon and Capital Reef National Parks and found this GEM. Escalate is a small town but has lots of great hiking and scenery in the area. Located on the #2 scenic highway in the world (Utah Highway 12), we located this B&B on... More

Catherine is a wonderful host. The kids enjoyed the pool table, the jacuzzi, the cat and the countless little details to explore around the property. Very thoughtful practical details in the room, too. The delicious breakfast has been rightfully mentioned many times. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

We stayed one night to visit the Grand Staircase monument. Catherine was wonderful- she gave us a lot of information about local activities suitable for our three children. We felt right at home. Our kids loved the pool table downstairs, which was a great way to relax after several long days of hiking. Breakfast was fantastic- pancakes with fresh berries... More

My thoughts on this bed and breakfast mirror the other reviewers' opinions. Catherine was very helpful in helping us chose the most suitable hikes for us. The breakfasts were excellent. Our room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights. I would highly recommend this to visitors of the Escalante area.
