We stay at Escalante outfitters every time we come to Escalante ( this is our third time) Great food right on the premises. If you like there are personalized tours for your liking, fishing horse back overnights, just ask! Clean bunks and bathrooms and stars for miles. We love it and will keep coming back. Thanks Escalante outfitters for fitting... More

We stayed 2 nights and found the accommodations to be very comfortable. Don't let the 'shared' bathroom deter you from staying here. I found the bathrooms to be clean, roomy and private. I never had to wait for a shower. The food was surprisingly fantastic, given the small town location. We ate 3 meals there. Our favorites included the pizza,... More

Our cabin was seriously cute and adorable! Had a bed two lights a mini airconditioner... a fan, and a place to put our bags. Shower house was clean and well taken care of! We stayed for 3 nights it was awesome. Only thing I thought they needed was a few more bbq's... Otherwise AWESOME!

After 4 days in the back country the comfy cabins, clean showers, and delicious cafe were the perfect place to recover before the drive home. In the future I could also see this being a great location to use as a base camp to adventure the incredible trails, canyons, and fishing holes near by.

My family stayed for a couple of nights in the cabins at Escalante Outfitters. For the most part, we enjoyed our visit. The cabins are small and the bed in our cabin filled about two-thirds of the floor. My biggest issue was that the bed was too soft for my tastes, as I prefer a firm bed. My children were... More

The Escalante Outfitters offers awesome lodging in tiny log cabins that just fit a bed. The office/shop/ restaurant is really quaint and offers great food, local knowledge and hospitality. It appears that all the locals hang out here for a coffee or fabulous pizza. Definitely recommended for an overnight stay or for a longer stay to explore the spectacular surroundings... More

Each of the quaint cabins are maybe 10x8 inside, which is just enough room for a queen bed, a night stand, and a small table; they are charming, if bare bones. Personally, a second pair of pillows would be a nice addition, as their wasn't a headboard. Bathrooms and showers are in the very clean communal bath/toilet building, where hot... More

I had never been to Escalante before so I had no idea what to expect when we were booking our tiny cabins. I thought it would be a step up from a tent but still "roughing it" a little bit. When I got there I was so impressed. These tiny cabins were so cute, clean and cozy. Had nice bathrooms... More

The bunkhouse was a perfect place for our weekend trip - the cabins were clean, simple, and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. And as an added perk, the bathrooms were wonderfully warm and the showers had great water pressure! Highly recommend getting pizza at the restaurant during your stay.

When our backpacking club had to postpone our plans due to some ugly weather one night, the owners were friendly, informative, and inviting during our stay. The bunkhouses and bathrooms were cozy and clean (even with the snowstorm), and the food in the cafe was great! Overall great business in Escalante, and we can't thank them enough for accommodating us... More
