I stayed here during January when the overnight lows were in the teens. While I had been out camping and checking out some of the dry non-technical Canyons in the area, I opted to stay here to get an early start hiking. With the days being so short, I wanted to spend the limited daylight exploring and not wasting my... More

This hotel even has large aluminum recycle and trash cans outside, so that if you are just coming back from camping, you don't have to search for a place to dispose of it. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Everything is in good repair, so you aren't struggling to get water out of the shower or finding a handle falling... More

A year ago a friend and I ended up in Escalante after a day of hiking and had no reservations. I stopped at the restaurant next to the Circle D and the owner spent the next 20 minutes trying to find me a room elsewhere as the motel was completely booked. No such luck, so he offered me a place... More

This is great value for money. The rooms are well appointed, better than most roadside motels you'd ever stay at, the staff is super friendly especially the manager Robert and very accommodating. We left some backpacks there while we went hiking in the canyons for a few days. They also let us use one of the rooms in the late... More

Arrived fairly early in the afternoon around 5:00 PM and had trouble finding anyone manning the check in desk. After I had knocked and shouted for someone to help me, after several minutes a gentleman finally appeared from behind a curtain with the explanation that he “was in the kitchen”. Checked in and went to our room which was a... More

To be honest, sometimes the idea of a roadside motel can be scary. Not this place!!! Upon check in, the gentleman behind the counter was courteous, friendly and gave us all kinds of information regarding the area. Our room was very clean with crisp white bedding and super comfortable bed. Bathroom appeared to have all new fixtures as well. Super... More

I took my four kids to Escalante to do some hiking over the Mother's Day weekend and we stayed here. I rented a 2 full size bed room and the Manager kindly brought in a blow-up bed to accomodate the extra person. He was incredibly kind and very willing to provide me with some information on where to go and... More

We stayed here coming teavelling from Bryce Canyon to Capital Reef. It was just a stop over, however the owner did make us curious about the nature and hikes in that region, so maybe we'll go back. The owner is a very friendly man, and welcomed us. The room is very basic, but comfortable. The sheets are supersoft. It was... More

Clean, comfortable room. Plenty of local information available. Close to the visitor center and eating establishments. Friendly owner. New mattresses made for a restful night after hiking in the Monument.
