We got a last minute deal for a two bedroom unit here. We weren't going to be able to check in until very late a day late, and the lady I talked to was very helpful in arranging a late check in. We drove up a very steep, windy mountain road in the dark, found our check in envelope and... More

I'll start off by saying it may be a different story in the winter, but as far as a summer resort, Powder Ridge was a good, steep drive outside of town and had no services on the mountain, other than a very limited shop at the resort. The setting was beautiful, but required a drive for almost any activity. Even... More

Part of our timeshare and decided to g e t out of the city for a weekend. Beautiful area but steep climb to get there and condo was dirty and dusty. Fridge made a horrible racket w hen it shut off. $66 cleaning fee added on at the end we wrre never told about. We wont be back ever!

We come here because we are more interested in the beauty of the scenery off the balcony and all around us and the great snowboarding just outside the door. We are close enough here to meet our snowboarding kids at the Hidden Lake lift for lunch midday or the children can come in midday if they get tired by themselves.... More

...and not in a good way. There is very poor phone service (the desk clerk suggested trying to connect while standing inside the basketball court in the main building!... how convenient) if that won't work you can always drive up the hill about a mile and hope to catch a connection, sure, that's better. As far as internet... you can... More

There is a widening/paving operation underway for the road leading to the Powder Ridge Village. The road was less than 40 feet from our unit's balcony and trucks roared past at least every 2 minutes all day long and used the entry to the condos as their 'turn around' spot, backing into the facility with constant beeping warning alarms. Adding... More

I vacation with my family every summer. We go to different places using a timeshare exchange. This summer we decided to visit Utah and wound up at Powder Ridge Village. The resort experience is usually one of my favorite parts about going on vacation. Of course, there are some that I have been to that have not been as nice... More

All games in game room were out of order, severely damaged, or charged extra money to use. No computer in lobby and slow unreliable dial up internet. They charge for everything- for DVD player, DVD rentals, computer use (which was also broken), phone use, had to pay for fire in your condo fireplace, etc.... Room was not clean, doors didn't... I booked a 3 bedroom unit thinking (thanks to my brother) that it was located in ogden valley. Found out the hard way that it was up at the top of the mountain. The cons were that you feel pretty secluded up there in the off season and the maid Olga did not do a thorough cleaning. Besides the dust,... More

If you want to ski or hike at near Powder Mountain you can't beat this location. If you are going to use it as a base to ski at other Utah resorts you might want to reconsider. You will be driving up and down a 12-16% grade in the winter. The 2 bedroom unit was fine size wise, but needed... More
