I booked a 3 bedroom unit thinking (thanks to my brother) that it was located in ogden valley. Found out the hard way that it was up at the top of the mountain. The cons were that you feel pretty secluded up there in the off season and the maid Olga did not do a thorough cleaning. Besides the dust,... More

If you want to ski or hike at near Powder Mountain you can't beat this location. If you are going to use it as a base to ski at other Utah resorts you might want to reconsider. You will be driving up and down a 12-16% grade in the winter. The 2 bedroom unit was fine size wise, but needed... More

We were invite to stay at Powder Ridge by our boat partners who have points with RCI. Before we arrived they sent us a email to limit our expectations. They knew we were use to the large European style ski villages found at such places as Beaver Creek and Whistler. Powder Mountain is in its own category. I would call... More

I was a little worried when we booked because of some negative reviews I read but was pleasantly surprised. We were in a two bedroom and two bath unit in the Aspin Ridge building as four adults and a toddler. There was plenty of room without being on top of eachother. The view was stunning when you could see through... More

Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Ski in, ski out was great, it is so remote that you really are "off the grid". New management since the "Not for summer" review shows they have turned things around. Powder Mountain is not a glitzy, expensive mountain teeming with nighlife, but it has 10 square miles of skiing, some... More

This resort is indeed at the top of the mountain. If you are going when it's snowing -heed the warnings, have good tires/chains etc... Very scary, steep driving- the ski resort has a shuttle service to the units & there is ski in/out so you don't HAVE to drive everyday-big relief for us. The units are fine- not great, not... More

We had a family reunion up at Powder Ridge. We had a good time because we were all together but the accommodations and service were terrible. My main complaint is that it was not clean. Our family had five units. My mom found mouse droppings throughout her unit and when she called about it- the maintenance man came and simply... More

This was our first time at Powder Mtn, and in the height of summer season. The location is incredible, right on top of the mountain. The views were incredible, the sunsets were spectacular! The drive up to the top is intense, the sign says 16% grade, it's accurate... your car will hate it. You just need to know, you pay... More

Service was exceptionally poor. Not much to do at this dirty resort except swim in their over chlorinated pool. We had several mice and droppings all over the place including in the towels they provided. When we asked if they could help clean the droppings up they said "you have a vaccumm dont you?" Units were not well cleaned and... More

We stayed in a two bedroom condo with another couple for a week while we skiied Powder Mountain. The units themselves are a little dated, and riddled with fake plants which I absolutely hate (have real ones or nothing), but they were clean, cozy, well appointed and comfortable. All units have fireplaces, in which you can only burn the pressed... More
