We have been going to Red Canyon Lodge for several years as a winter weekend getaway. We enjoy x-country skiing and snowshoeing while feeling like we are the only ones on the mountain. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cabins and grounds are quite nice.

We have been coming to Red Canyon for Valentine's Day for the last 7 years. We have never had a bad experience. This year was no different. The people, the cabin, the food, the weather - all great. There really wasn't enough snow to ski so we went hiking. Sunny breezy day, had a great time checking out the dinosaur... More

We stayed here only one night , we were on our way to Flaming gorge to camp. Nice location, easy to find, lots of wildlife! We had 7-9 deer through here at dusk and Pika (we think). We saw several people head out on horseback with the local guide, looked like fun!

Settle down in your own cabin, in front of the lake. All facilities to set up a beautiful fire after a gorgeous sunset. Our children enjoyed cooking some Smores on the fire. I enjoyed a nice jogging around the lake at sunrise. The dinner was very good. It is a great escape in a fantastic area of Utah (Red Canyon... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, and everything from the staff, the clean cabin, and the the setting was excellent. The only thing that kept me from from rating it as a five was the food. The food was good, but not great. The cabin was very clean and fairly new, and the staff was great. They were very friendly,... More

My mother and I just returned from a nice weekend of fishing The Green River. Red Canyon Lodge was recomended to us by Western Rivers Fly Shop in Salt Lake City and we were not dissapointed. The entire staff was so nice and the cabins were clean. When I woke up on Saturday morning, my car was dead. Wayne, the... More

If you're into outdoor adventure and want a touch of comfort, this may be for you. If you're not, it probably isn't. We were using it as a stopover for a single night, and so were not into horse riding, fishing or boating which are the lodge's strengths. The setting is undeniably beautiful and relaxing, and scenery in the surrounding... More

This is a very good Lodge to go to for anything to do with the outdoors. They have friendly staff and Management. The food is good but the beer could be better. They have some nice cabins and 2 small lakes. The wildlife is everywhere. I would recommended this to anyone that goes to Flaming Gorge part of Utah.

Fun cabins. The alpine cabins have a nice set-up. Kitchenette: Microwave, coffee maker. Not much else. No sink, no utensils, no dishware. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to know in advance. Nice bathroom with shower, sink, toilet. Quiet & beautiful. Fire ring with wood provided. If you want to be outdoors without sleeping on the ground- this... More

I have stayed at Red Canyon Lodge each of the last 13 years, and found it to be the best choice in all categories in the area. The rooms are more than adequate, exceptionally clean, and provide a beautiful sunrise view each morning. The on site restaurant has a wonderful choice of entrees and a superb chef to prepare them.... More
