At $126.00/night, one would expect a higher standard of cleanliness and comfort. The bathroom was encrusted with mold, there were many irritating flies in the room, there was no hair dryer, the lighting was extremely dim, and the bedding was very worn.

The condos are clean and comfortable with full kitchen, cable, and wifi. The restaurant is very good. The guides and guide service are without compare. The staff is friendly and helpful from top to bottom. It's a great value, too!

This is not the Ritz and you won't find one anywhere in this area. But, it's clean and comfortable and the staff is wonderful. Went with a group of 16 and one person asked for a blow dryer in her room. When we came back from our fishing trip every room had a blow dryer in it. We ate breakfast... More

Flaming gorge is an unbelievably beautiful setting. The people at the resort were great. Unfortunately, it got worse from there. The room was one that would not have passed muster at motel 6 20 years ago. The shag carpet was stained and worn. The bathroom was dated even moreso. The prices were high for the room as well as the... More

We enjoyed our two nights at the Flaming Gorge Resort and had booked a one-bedroom suite for the three of us. This is a rustic resort so do your homework before you book and check its right for you– we liked it very much because we enjoy peace and quiet … but it is by no means a luxury destination.... More

Thank you for your genuine review. I'm sure it will be helpful for others when deciding if we are right for them. Fall is a beautiful time to visit Flaming Gorge and it sounds like you were able to see a few of the sights close by. We appreciate your warm remarks and we hope you'll have a chance to... More

The accommodations at this location are less than resort like. At $140.00/night for 2 guests I would expect the mattresses to be much nicer (worst night sleep I've had in a very long time) and the room to not smell like pine cleaner. It wouldn't take much to update the rooms and put decent TV's in them either. We ate... More

This is an old school place where little if any updating has occurred. The chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was homemade sauce and was no good. My friend had the pork chop special. He thought the gravy was can and the food was cold. Both plates were $20 each. We pushed aside the $9 peach cobbler and ice cream. On a plus,... More

We were traveling in the area and did not want to go all the way to Vernal. We were able to book a room at the Flaming Gorge Resort. The staff was helpful and courteous. The rooms are comfortable yet not fancy. Come with a small bathroom with a shower and two double beds. There is an onsite dining room... More

We stayed there in a tent for one evening and were received with a warm welcome. The campground is also titled Mountain View, and can be confusing when trying to locate it via GPS, but ask at local c-store in Dutch John and they'll point you in the right direction. We were watching the rain come in our direction and... More

Thank you for staying with us. I believe you stayed at the Pine Forest RV park, they also have camping spots. It is a beautiful place tucked away from the busy highway. Doug and Carolyn manage the RV park and are fantastic hosts. We appreciate your stay with us and hope to see you again soon! Thank you!!! More
