Warm welcome on late check-in. Very good food. Matched our requirements. Wish we had had more time to explore the surrounding countryside but the fish were calling. more

This was a nice, clean place to stay in the middle of nowhere other than the lake and river. The beds were comfortable and the staff were very nice. This place caters to fishermen and outdoors folks rafting or doing things on the water. We had a motel room for 2 nights. The restaurant served good food ranging from crab legs... more

The Flaming Gorge Resort offers hotel and condo-like accommodations. Our party consisted of two families with three kids aged 6, 7 and 13. We stayed in one of the condos for a week. The condo has a queen & twin in the bedroom and a pullout full-size sofa with a roll-away bed and a full kitchen. Style wise the condo... more

This place has really improved since undergoing new management a couple years ago. The new owners have put money back into the place & have begun replacing several out dated & old items. The overall look & feel of the place is great. Each year they seem to improve/replace the most necessary things. I'm glad to see that the high... more

I stayed at the motel part and it is a 1 star motel at a 3 star price. It had old carpet, moldy ceiling in small bathroom, saggy ceiling in bedroom, old lumpy mattresses, no air conditioning. Only plusses were location, wi-fi and good flyshop. more

I spent one night with my wife after four days in the heat of the Canyonlands. We were positively welcomed by cool air. The resort is immersed in the silence of this pleasant reservoir, full of fishermen, with a breathtaking view on the Green River. We were given a large motel room (alternative is a condo room) with a very... more

A great place if you are not staying in the room. We stayed at motel part and it needed a lot of updating. I think their interior decorator retired 30+ years ago by the age of the furniture. I would look for something else in the area before coming back. Every vacation has to have a lemon and this was... more

I took my family up to Flaming Gorge Lodge, which is now Flaming Gorge Resort. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this mountain Resort. The staff was exceptionally friendly and informative. The rooms were a little older but they were very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The food at the wonderful. Our stay, even though it was winter,... more

We planned to stay 3 nights but left after 2 due to this yucky room. The carpet was really dirty, bathroom was not clean and had numerous bugs, no AC (it was about 95-100 degrees), and the beds were really uncomfortable. Staff were really nice, though, and the resturant had great food. If the owners put a little money into... more

We were very disappointed with this place. It was old and rundown with carpeting that was ages old and brown paneling on the walls that weren't concrete. You could see a 1/2 inch gap of light through the entrance door to the room. The bathroom was exceptionally small - you had to squeeze in then shut the door to use... more
