We were on a roadtrip through Utah and have heard many good things about Kodachrome. The cabins are located in the park itself. They are adequate, in that you have a bed, shower & toilet with the advantage of a roof over your head. Cabins are equiiped with a bar fridge and microwave, there is a general store that stocks... We stayed here for one night in between touring Bryce Canyon and exploring Highway 12. The Kodachrome State Park is way the heck out there! It was practically dark -around 6:30) when we arrived. They had left a note and a key on the store door for us to get into our cabin. I don't think we ever actually saw... More

My 2 girlfriends and myself spent 3 days in some adorable cabins in the middle of red rock country, 30 miles from Bryce. The cabins were cute log structures, with drop-dead views of the red rocks in the middle of Kodachrome State Park. They had adorable little porches, comfy beds, and the trail head was 10 steps from your door.... More

We stayed at the park on the way to Bryce Canyon, and wished that we had more time to explore before we headed out! The cabin was great, everything we needed (no TV, very remote location), and we did get an internet signal via satellite as advised. A lovely peaceful location and a perfect spot for sunrise photography. I would... More

Stayed here 2 nights as part of a Utah-trip. Cabin was better than expected, with nice soft beds and good hot shower. Amazing views from the porch. Had a wonderful time. But... - The cabin was really hot when we arrived at 5 pm. Fridge wasn't on either. Since they were fully booked for a longer period of time, I... More

The cabins are simple and clean. Their are a variety of choices for beds so make reservations early if you want a king size bed. Their are grills for cooking food but you need to bring your own grilling utensils. It is located in Kodachrome State Park which is a very scenic park. This location also gives you great access... We bumped into these cabins by accident and decided to spend a night. Kodachrome deserves a bettter write-up than it gets in the tourbooks. We thought the park views were lovely and really enjoyed the hikes and the dirt road drives just outside. Our cabin was clean and spacious with a fridge and microwave in addition to the coffee pot.... More

If you want to wake up in a magic place out of the crowd then go here. The view you have from these cabins makes up for any fault you may find. Cabins are large and suffciently clean. Nothing exceptional, but more than ok. Reception is certainly not the main asset of the place, showing little care about customers. If... More

I stayed here during a road trip from Colorado to California, between stops at Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. I knew when I made the reservation that it was heading a bit in the wrong direction but with all the good word of mouth I had to check it out. However, the cabins were further and more remote than... These cabins are so cute, it's ridiculous. More importantly, the beds are comfy and everything is very clean. It's true, you're 12 miles from anywhere ("anywhere" being a very small town) so you definitely want to pick up breakfast foods on the way. You'll want to sit on your little porch admiring the view while sipping your coffee and having... More
