Booked at Bryce View Lodge, when we arrived we were told they couldn't find our reservation (and that they were full). After a few asking around the office, they found a note noting we had been upgraded to the newer, better Ruby's Inn. So all was well. From the outside, Ruby's Inn certainly looks newer, better and a lot bigger... more

Ruby's Inn is as close to the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park as you can get without being in it. The facilities at the site are excellent - camp site, grocery store, gas station, restaurant(s), ATV tours, horse riding, indoor pool (motel & hotel) and various other tourist stores (in high season). The rooms were comfortable and well equipped... more

Right inside Bryce Canyon National Park, this is a great location for visiting Bryce. We had booked on line direct with Best Western, but the hotel had no trace of our reservation, and it took some time for us to be allocated our room. When we reached it, it was across the vast carpark, in a separate building (there are... more

Avoid any ground floor room that has another room above it. We had a ground floor room the there appeared to be no sound insulation between our room and the one upstairs. Every step by one of those guests echoed through our room Then the busses in the parking lot stated up before 7a,m and they sounded like they were... more

We stayed one night at the Ruby's Inn on 6th October as part of a road trip around Utah, mainly to visit Bryce Canyon and do the trail riding. The hotel is actually a good location for Bryce Canyon and what you expect from the usual 3 star accommodation that Best Western provide. Basic accommodation with 2 large double beds,... more

From Ruby's you can see another BW hotel across the street; that's the one you should book! Ruby's Inn has good facilities like the supermarket, but the rooms are quite outdated. Even though we got a room in the main building, which seems to be renovated, it was really cold and damp inside. The room was exactly opposite to the... more

Rubys Inn is like a small city, everything you need to enjoy a visit to Bryce Canyon National Park. Very well equipped General Store with sundries, food, camera equipment, jewelry, books, postcards, etc, from high quality items to less expensive tourist fare.. Different levels of restaurants from more formal dining to cafeteria style. Rooms are clean and quiet and facility... more

Perfect location for Bryce Canyon. Not really a romantic gateway, no soul, but all you need is there: shops, choice of restaurants, gas, ... and large and clean rooms. more

We stopped for one night enroute from Salt Lake City to northern Arizona, mostly wanting to avoid Las Vegas. Vegas would have been a sure fire winner vs Ruby's. We were told that the only room they would give us was a very overpriced king suite for $189. The new building across the highway was even more $$$. Being late... more
