My husband needed to go to an emergency room during our recent (eleventh annual) stay at the Silver Fork. We were without a car, and the Lodge's owner insisted on taking us to Intermountain Medical Center on Christmas Eve and waiting to bring us back to the Lodge when we were ultimately released. Whatever its minor faults, the Silver Fork... More

WOW. I cannot rave enough about the staff at this lodge. My friends and I rented all but one of the rooms for a 30th birthday party, so we basically took over the place Saturday night. From the moment we arrived all the staff members were friendly, kind, and really bent over backwards for us! We got free snacks, hand... More

Just returned from another scrumptious, heart warming, tummy filling breakfast at Silver Fork Lodge. A little cooler out on the deck, so sat inside the rustic lodge style restaurant in front of the fireplace. Once again, I chose "The Scrambler" which consists of fluffy scrambled eggs, melted cheddar or Swiss cheese, delicious ham, crispy home fried potatoes, hot tea with... More

I had my wedding less than a mile down the street at the Bear Trap Lodge that has the same owner as the Silver Fork. We rented out the Bear Trap for almost a week and absolutely loved it. My parents got both my husband and I but also my grandparents a room at the Silver Fork for the night.... More

I was married ten years ago at the lodge, so the wife and I decided to stay a night and hike in the area. The primary thing at Silver Fork is food and service, so you can't expect a fancy room. We stayed in the Navajo room, furthest from the sounds of dining on the deck. In the mountain view... More

We stayed at the Brighton Lodge for a week of skiing and boarding. The only real food options there are Molly's pub, who does an absolutely horrible job of even making basic pub grub, and cafeterias. Disenchanted with the options at the ski area, we drove the few miles down to the Silver Fork lodge for lunch one day. I... More

I had a delicious breakfast with my new husband the morning after my dream wedding at Silver Fork Lodge. I had the Chili Verde Omlete served with hash browns and toast. Yummy, everything was well cooked, well presented and served quickly. Our waiter, Jake was friendly and attentive to our needs. The coffee was great and the hot chocolate was... More

For 20 years, I have occasionally visited this memorable restaurant in a small-scale ski lodge near the Solitude and Brighton ski resorts. It is a cozy dining room--log, stone, and glass--with a fireplace and skis and snowshoes on the walls to top off the atmosphere. The deck is especially nice in late spring, summer, and early fall--look for the hummingbirds.... More

While riding in the 4WD van through the canyon in a snowstorm, the driver asked us which mountain we were staying at. When we said "The Silver Fork" he replied "Oh wow, how cool is that?" We weren't sure if that was a genuine sign of a good choice in accommodations or if we'd picked the "unusual choice" for the... More

We stayed at Silver Fork for 4 nights at the end of February and like to think of it as a home away from home type atmosphere, but more rustic. I've now been a guest of the lodge on three occasions. It's simple and could use some updates, but it's more than sufficient for what we want when we go... More
