After picking up our car in Houston for our drive to New Orleans we chose to stay in Winnie to break our drive. This motel was featured in the hotel coupon book and advertised a hot breakfast. This was not the case and the continental breakfast was poor. The room had a musty smell and bath towels thin and needed... More

So I fist off want to say I went there with my wife and kids to see how clean and remodeled it was. The price seemed reasonable and we were only going to stay over night. I walked it and a man walked up and asked if he could help me. I told him we wanted to see a room... More

We were travelling across country and checked in here for the night and the stay went downhill from there. The room stank, there were little signs all over that stated how much $$$ it would cost US if anything were missing from our room. The furnishings were old and worn out, tv reception splotchy. There were a few construction workers... More

We went to Winnie, TX for the Larrys Old Time Days Flea Market and stayed at the Econolodge. The ice machine on the first floor is out of order, sign says please use machine on second floor. The employees said that this has been this way for a while. The hot breakfast is a joke. It is a continental breakfast... More

The hotel is old, and worn out. The staff is not at all friendly. The rooms stink of insecticide. The manager was a jerk. Our room was not serviced during the first night. The second day, the maid service stole money from the room. Construction on the new building the parking lot started at 6 AM with heavy equipment, back... More

We selected this motel for its value. It is much cheaper than the motels in Beaumont and it included a tasty free hot breakfast. Adding to the value was the manager's reception served nightly from 6 to 8. While we found the keg of Bud Light and popcorn a little skimpy compared to other manager's receptions it was adequate, and... More
