My husband and I are frequent visitors to Wimberley and the surrounding area- we have children and grandchildren nearby, and we enjoy the area in general. This weekend was a spur-of-the-moment thing, so we had a hard time booking a room, and wound up staying 2 nights in "Watermelon Cottage", at Highpoint Manor Inn. Or Heirloom Blooms. Or Acres Wild.... We recently got married at Highpoint Manor Inn. The whole experience was perfect. Check out times are very flexible. The owner Barbara is an absolute sweetheart and she has created a destination that is comfortable, relaxing and secluded. The manager/head chef Jay is the man. Jay has a calming, zen-like quality that is quite contagious. As stressful as weddings are,... More

Thank you Keaton and Helen! You, your family, and friends really brought a lot of love and joy to Acres Wild Ranch. We wish you could have stayed longer! (forever) Give those dogs a good scratchin' for me. We hope to see you again real soon! P.S.- send pictures! More

Starting off with some positives, Barbara was a warm and welcoming host and couldn't have been nicer. The setting was really rustic and the animals were fun to visit. Our actual accommodations, however, were somewhat disappointing in light of what we paid. When we arrived, we put some things in the mini-fridge but didn't realize that it was unplugged until... Thank you for your insight. After reading your review and matching it to our records, I believe you stayed in the Magnolia cottage. It is part of a free-standing duplex, and did have a child next door. We have decided to go ahead and turn the duplex into one very large cottage which will accommodate up to ten guests. (very... We enjoyed a weekend get-away in Wimberley at the Highpoint to escape from the city. Barbara greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. We reserved a cottage so we could bring our miniature poodle with us; she liked having a small fenced yard to explore. The main house was just a short walk away, where we enjoyed the lovely... More

The title of the review says it all. We have nothing bad to say, and we are going to be back. In today's world, if someone tells you that they would spend their money again at the same place, then they must be happy with the service they received. My girlfriend and I were looking for something todo over the... More

My cousins, sister, daughter, daughter-in-law and I stayed at Highpoint Manor in mid June for the purpose of a cousins' reunion and also to attend a musical at the Emily Ann Theater in Wimberly. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the property was charming and our hosts were friendly and attentive. The breakfast room was welcoming and sunny, and the... More

We stayed in the Bourbon Suite for three nights in June as a get away in the Texas Hill Country. The temperature was about 3 degrees cooler on this property by just being out in the country. The peacocks did a bit of yelping, especially early in the morning, but it didn't keep us from sleeping well. We enjoyed all... More

We stayed at the Highpoint Manor Inn in Wimberley in January and loved it. The room was beautiful, the hospitality was great, and the breakfast delicious. The inn is situated on nice property close to the town of Wimberley with animals (donkeys, alpacas, birds) all around. The public rooms are beautifully furnished and spacious; there is even a pool table.

We have visited Highpointe Manor twice now. We have stayed in The Watermelon Patch & The Sagebrush Cottage. Both times we were greeted be Barb as though we were long time friends. She makes you feel so at home and comfortable however she is never intrusive. The location of the Inn is close enough for restaurants and town shops as... More
