Everything nice and clean as usual, plenty hiking trails to explore and good fishing from the shore of Lake Whitney. We also enjoyed the golfing at the golf course just across the street from our campsite, pay one green fee and golf all day.

We stayed over Easter weekend and I was really impressed with all the activities they had - even an adult nighttime egg hunt. We love coming to this location because of all the activities, clean grounds and its just so peaceful and relaxing!

Spent Spring Break in a Getaway Cottage with our grandchildren. Activities for the children were great. Staff very helpful; going through a management change and staff trying very hard to be sure everyone enjoys their stay. Corporate needs to repair roads and add more 50 amp electric service sites to accommodate big rigs. Cottages need updated mattresses. Great family pool... More

Lots of great memories of this resort. Going through a management change and staff is working on the roads and clearing the overhanging limbs. Rangers and staff are friendly and helpfull. Met several people at craft day and later that nigt went to dinner in town with them. If in Texas, stay here. "A" loop is where we stayed, but... More

We had a wonderful peaceful Thanksgiving weekend with our whole family. We love the area and the people are super. Corporate does need to repair roads and add more 50 amp electric service sites! With the bigger RV's it would benefit all the parks to upgrade to accommodate the larger rigs.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites were shady and mostly level. We are using the free Thousand Trails membership that came with the purchase of my teardrop trailer, so the 30 amp site did not us cost any additional money. [According to the website, retail is $37/day] There is an adults-only lodge/ pool area; we loved having a child-free... More

We love this park. Could have used a little more in the lawn care area. We had to pick stickers out of the kids shoes from the playground, so that needs to be addressed. The park has excellent and well maintained rec areas--basketball, tennis, mini golf, and the pools! However it does need more 50 amp sites. With the trend... More

This is, to date, our favorite Thousand Trails park. Staff was over-the-top friendly and helpful. A lot of activities for the kids were available, and the equipment for games were fully stocked and in good condition. Like many TT parks, there are parts that are older, but everywhere is well-maintained and very clean. No wifi in section A, but it... More

My husband and I took our two kids (12 and 14) for a family weekend and had an awful time. The staff was very rude to us when we checked in and out, and acted like our business was a burden to them. After purchasing 3 days stay in advance and their outrageously overpriced firewood (you can bring your own... More
