First impression wasn't great: the Marriott shuttle driver from DFW to hotel was not helpful at all. He didn’t get up from his seat once, to help people on or off with their bags. At the hotel, the front desk was efficient and friendly. The hotel is nice looking, sleek and simple. I had one of the rooms with a... more

The Solana is a wonderful hotel! Every time we stay they treat us great. Platinum members, they have a wonderful concierge. We have been given a free upgrade to a suite every time we ask! I love the pool area. The rooms are large, beds comfortable, breakfast buffet, delicious. This last visit, the pool was closed for part of the... more

The rooms were great. All of the Catering and Front desk staff were friendly and plesant to deal with. I was disappointed because the only option for dinner was the lounge ( filled with bar patrons ) or the room service menu. The On Line Hotel web site lists a restaurant with a dinner menu, it just does not exist.... more

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night before heading to the airport. Our room was perfect! It was so clean. We stayed at the pool most of the day and it was great. So was the hot tub. The hotel offers a shuttle around town. This is very nice. They also offer a shuttle to the airport. We... more

Stayed one night on a business trip in December of 2008. Property is conveniently located next to the 114 freeway and provides close access to the DFW airport. Stayed in a room with a king size bed, which was very comfortable and had several large pillows. The television was HD and had a good selection of channels. The bathroom was... more

Stayed 10 nights during a relocation with my family. Upgraded to the Club (concierge) level. Nice breakfast and evening setting in the lounge. Architecture is interesting, but the layout is not the most user friendly. Its a bit of a trek from the rooms to the lobby and bar/restaurant. Positives: no charge for parking or airport shuttle service. Nice concierge... more

I'm not sure how they do it, but the staff at this hotel has a way of balancing their extreme service with genuine hospitality that doesn't make you feel like they're greeting you because it's part of their job description, or like you're being interrupted or disturbed by their attempts to help. I arrived on a very hot Dallas day... more

Was in the area for a weekend concert. We've driven past this Marriott a number of times and were always amazed at how unique looking the hotel and surrounding buildings are. Location is nice and quiet with no worry about freeway noise. Easy to get on and off Hwy 114, downtown Fort Worth and Dallas are probably a good 20... more

Very nice hotel. The beds are fantastic. Architects gone wild in what seems like the middle of nowhere! Staff is friendly but not always attentive. They make some mistakes. I enjoy staying there because it is clean, and the beds are GREAT. Starbucks downstairs is convenient. Could use some remodeling- carpeting/furniture but overall good and would stay again. more

I stayed here with my husband who was on business. The hotel is nice, not my style of decor, but nothing to rave about. The pool and setting are beautiful and I enjoyed the nearby walking path. The rooms are a little dull, but ours had a spectacular private balcony which we had breakfast on. You are able to request... more
