Just a true Shangri-la, absolutely breath taking and perfect staff who were just off the chain. Will definitely return in 2015. Very secluded and a beautiful get away you just will not forget! Make sure The Inn at Dos Brisas is on your "bucket-list".

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Was everything perfect? No. No place is perfect. But the only things that were imperfect were absolutely inconsequential. They had nothing to do with the overall experience, which was excellent. We left completely relaxed, ready to leap into the buzz saw of Monday morning. The staff at Dos Brisas was excellent and attentive.

I love how convenient this ranch resort is to Austin. We stayed in a 3000 square foot Hacienda with our own pool!! It was ACTUALLY like staying in a home away from home. As we are foodies, we also appreciated the cine cuisine served in the restaurant; we had no idea that the restaurant is the only Forbes Five-Star restaurant... More

The Inn was developed as a luxury ranch property - that is suppose to be part of the esteemed Relais Chateaux association. The property itself is a beautiful "concept" - but very flawed and definitely not worthy of the Relais Chateaux title. Service requests inadequate, staffing very minimal, "visiting chef" not qualified for a Relais Chateaux property, unresponsive management to situations,... More

Dear FF4ever: You brought some issues with your experience at The Inn at Dos Brisas to my attention on February 18th. I responded to your e-mail immediately offering to remedy this matter to your complete satisfaction. No response from you. I just returned from a (oh too short) stay at The Inn at Dos Brisas. This was my first trip to the rural part of Texas Hill Country, and it absolutely took my breath away. Texans for years have been telling me how special this slice of the Lone Star State is, so my expectations were already set high. It's... More

The concept is great: a luxury ranch in the heart of Texas. The staff is super-friendly and eager to help. Unfortunately the execution falls short on many accounts. Here is a list of the issues we encountered during our 7-night stay. - No heat in the master bedroom for 36 hours. - Annoying phone calls to our room, to inquire... More

Set in the heart of Texas hill country this resort is the epitome of Texas romance. It's recognized as a Relais & Châteaux, and hosts the only Forbes 5-Star restaurant in Texas. The ranch style resort has mini houses (casitas or haciendas) each with its own four-wheel golf cart for getting around the property. There are countless activities (it's horse... More

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. We were upgraded to a Hacienda which was by far the best hotel room I've ever stayed in. Huge rooms, huge bathrooms. Perfect for romantic get away! Everyone was incredibly nice and accommodating. The staff allowed us to stay late, enjoy the property and even invite other members of our family... More

Stayed at Dos Brisas with 2 other couples 1/13/15 to 1/15/15. MY wife's had turned 60 the week before and one of the couple in our party had called ahead to mention this. Upon our arrival, Dos Brisas upgraded us to one of the casitas, which are very very nice.. That night, they put rose pedals on our bed and... More

We have eaten here many times (over eleven times in fact, including the very first Mother's Day when it opened years ago). We have also spent the night here five separate times. And we have hosted two private dinner parties there. However, each time, it is as if it is our first. There is significant staff turnover and so there... More
