I viewed a room prior to staying and that was one of their better rooms. The week that I stayed, the furniture was severely chipped and dented. The room had a mildew smell. The other guests had children continuously running up and down the halls making noise. There was a dog in the hallway another day barking at us. The... more

Over the past 4 years or so, I've stayed at this hotel on the few trips I've had to take to Waco. Ususally, it's on the way to DFW or somewhere else, but each time, it's been for a single night. I really don't think it would be worth the cost to stay more than one however. That may not... more

Nothing special. Room was mediocre...I think the entire Country Inn & Suites chain is aging, and the pre-fab structures don't age so well. Room was a bit beat-up and had a cheap feel to it. We stayed here without planning...just a hotel along the way. Hotel is situated right on the freeway (I-35)...convenient but you can hear some road noise... more

In town to visit Baylor. This property is tired, a distance from the university and needs some attention and renovation. There are several newer, fresher properties in Waco. Won't stop here again! more

The room was very comfortable for a night especially if only 2 people. We had a suite type room with a king bed in one room and the sofa sleeper bed in the other room. Our bed was very comfortable, but the sofa sleeper was horrible, it definitely needed replacing. The mattress tilted downward at the head of the bed... more

This hotel is very warm, cozy, inviting. The front desk attendant was very helpful & friendly. The interior reminding me of a bed & breakfast type atmosphere. Although they had three floors they had an elevator which made it great not having to climb up & down those stairs. They had a free breakfast the next morning although it was... more

The hotel lobby is welcoming and clean. Free cookies available all day and night. Breakfast was good, although the waffle iron could be tricky and needed a lot of spray and make sure that you know breakfast ends at 9:30 a.m., as we assumed July 4th would be considered a holiday and they still closed breakfast at regular weekday breakfast... more

WOW! What a great place. Walking into the lobby is like walking into someone's home, and the staff treats you like family. Nice amenities and services offered: outdoor pool, fitness center, business center, free breakfast, and free local calls. Be sure to book on ... for the best rates. I will remember this brand in my future travels, hoping that... more
