We had a very pleasant stay at the Friendly Oaks. The owners are genteel and friendly with lots of local knowledge which they are happy to share. But the outstanding aspect of our stay were the breakfasts which are far beyond 'typical B&B' fare. The host says that he has 14 different breakfasts which he rotates. We had three on... More

This is a lovely old home in the center of Victoria. The owners were full of good information about the town. Our room, large and decorated in a very romantic style, with a large bathroom/dressing room. The breakfast was the crepes others have mentioned(delicious). A large beautiful porch was delightful for early evening and coffee in the morning.

Overall, enjoyed my stay here. Room was comfortable, although their is major construction going on next door, so no sleeping in. Breakfast were fantastic, and the management was friendly. One big downside is there is no place within the house to sit and relax, so it is rather like using a room in someone's house rather than a typical B&B.

I did not spend a lot of time inside Friendly Oaks, but when I was there I loved every minute of it. The hosts are friendly and know a lot about Victoria and all of its charm. My bedroom was large and comfortable. I had my own bathroom, including a vanity section to get ready in the morning. The shower... More

A nice old house in downtown Victoria. My husband and I only stayed one night. The room was large and the owners were very nice. Breakfast was good but different then the usually BNB food. Take your own towels, the ones we had were to ruff and old. This is not a BNB to go to if you want alone... More

If you come to Victoria, you have to stay at Friendly Oaks! The room was nice and comfortable and the breakfast was a delicious baked grapefruit with Blue Corn and Blueberry pancakes. I wish we could have stayed for an additional day but when home calls, home calls. The host was very informative and helpful in directing us to local... More

I go to Victoria five or six times a year. Actually, the hotels and motels in Victoria are very high because of the demand. This bed & breakfast is less than $100 per night and is very much worth it. I stay there every time I go to Victoria and I've always had a good room and an excellent breakfast.... More
