My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary. We stayed in the gallery and absolutely loved it! The cabin was big enough to easily sleep 11, and came equipped with everything you needed to enjoy your stay except food. We enjoyed kayaking around the lake during the day and sitting on... More

Comfortable & clean. Good location & good views. A good cabin for families. With no cell service in Uncertain, we would have felt more comfortable with a land line in case we had any problems. The wifi service was good when it was connected. Seems it doesn't come on until 5pm and goes off sometime in the night.

We LOVED the little house and its location. Very charming and right on the lake! But there is **NO** cell coverage there, not even an occasional bar to text. No coverage for miles, as a matter of fact. The owner advertises free WIFI, but it was not working the day we were there. The ONLY way to communicate with the... More

Spent two nights at this wonderful cottage. Everything mentioned in other reviews is accurate. Dottie was super easy to work with. An added bonus for us was being able to bring our dogs. They loved roaming around the huge back yard while we relaxed in the glider. (I might suggest you watch your pets closely when you take them out... More

We'd known Billy Carter because he took us on a fabulous photographic ride around the lake. So when our family decided to spend a weekend there, we had no doubts where we wanted to stay. For the five adults, two children, and one dog, we were lodged in The Gallery. It was spacious, decorated beautifully, and fitted with everything we... More

We stayed here for one night (Easter Sunday) in the Duckweed Guest House and absolutely loved it. there was something so different, unusual, part creepy like in some horror movie, but so so cool. It was probably one of my highlights of the 4 weeks in the USA! The accommodations were very comfortable, clean, spacious. We had 2 young boys... More

Needed a little get a way. I stumbled upon this place and was very happy I did. We had a very relaxing time. We built a fire (they provided the firewood) and wrapped up in a sleeping bag. It was peaceful and relaxing. I was ready to go back when I got home. The owners are very nice people. They... More

My husband and I happened upon this amazing cottage by chance. Our experience was so beautiful I cannot recommend it enough. The owner of the property was as unique as the location and the water is breathtaking. We took a canoe trip, sat out by the fire, played cards, wrapped up in blankets and drank coffee at sunrise.. This place... More

We recently stayed at the Water Lily Guest House, which is away from the other Guest Houses. The owners were very accomadating . The house was very clean and does have a full kitchen, window unit ac and a wood burning stove. The house is located down a short windy road through some other properties and then you dead end... We stayed in the Gallery with two families (4 adults, 2 kids under 5).The main portion of the house is 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath with plenty of space and all the amenities you could need. The house is in excellent condition with central air throughout the main floor. There is a large screened in porch with ceiling fans along the... More
