Rooms are very outdated, but were clean.AC very loud and old fashion, toilet very loud when flushing.Carpet dirty and very musty smell as you walk in the hotel as if someone smokes and it was trying to be covered with with some type of spray. Rooms were cleaned but a very musty odor. Beds were conformable. Breakfast was OK. not... More

We went for a Silver Leaf Resort tour, meaning our hotel was free. I normally wouldn't complain about something being free. However, this was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. The first room we where assigned the toliet was broke, that was not huge deal , we went to the front to ask for another. The... More

Service was unbelievably bad. A/C was from the 60's and it was very warm in our room. The manager SAT at the front desk totally disinterested. PLUS, he had nerve enough to tell me that he did check the A/C and it was on HEAT!! OMG, HE MUST HAVE THOUGHT I LOOKED REALLY STUPID. Never had this kind of service... More

I travel all over the world and this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in including places like Belgrade, Serbia. I frankly could not believe I was in the USA. The elevators (photo) were in such bad condition that the doors did not work properly and the insides literately looked horrific. There is no price that justifies a place... More

Upon Checking in, we noticed only 4 or 5 cars in the parking lot, and after this experience I understand why. Room was not bad, but carpet was so dirty that it turned feet black. There was hair in the bathroom on the floor mat. Represented to Have Free Full Breakfast, on check in, restaurant closed for remodeling. Cereal and... More

This was supposed to be a 3 star, it's a one. We checked in late, was told they did not have the two queen bed reservation, then said they were able to get us that room. Gave us keys to the 3 floor where there was no carpet and workers were apparently living on that floor. When we got to... More

I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but it's not that bad. Seems like they're upgrading the place, but other than being older, it was clean aside from the hallway carpets needing to be replaced. The price was really reasonable and the breakfast was outstanding.

My husband and I went to Tyler to get away for the weekend. The rooms are HUGE at this hotel, but reviewers are right about the stained carpets in the hallways. Ask for the upper floor rooms because the ground floor rooms suck. We were put into a room on the 2nd floor and went back to ask for another... More

The lobby had been renovated and they were painting while I was there, however the hallways and elevators are creepy and scary. The hall carpets especially were stained and smelly. The room was ok. The furniture had been updated. The bathroom was a bit stained and outdated , but ok. however, I did not like that the extra towels were... More

On behalf of the entire staff I would like to apologize for failing to meet your expectations. The renovations should be completed with in the next few months, to bring a new fresh look to the hotel. The swimming pool is seasonal and will be open Memorial day weekend. I do look forward to seeing back again, and would like... More

We were on the road and I was speaking to a Choice Hotel rewards program rep to secure a free room using points. Unfortunately, I specified a town and I was told this hotel would honor my points for a free night. I should have asked him what other towns nearby had a Comfort Inn. The room had a smell... More
