The phone number on this listing needs to be added, it's (806) 423-1151. We're a family of three, and we stayed for three nights in March of 2015. The building is a historical landmark; Governors have stayed here - but that was decades ago. The breakfast, and the people running the place from day-to-day, are fantastic. I'm afraid you're going... More

I stopped here one night while on my backpacking trip of the Caprock Canyons Trailway. I really loved the unique atmosphere of this place. The fellas running it, Albert & Joe, are very friendly and helpful. They don't provide the typical motel/B&B amenities such as soap and shampoo, so bring your own. Joe cooks a tasty breakfast, nothing fancy, but... More

Very pleased with our last minute stay out in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was perfect. Very quiet so if sleep is a priority, this is a great place. Very old building, but with old time charm and lots of character.

Stayed there about 6 years ago. Stayed in the Gone with the wind room. The room was clean but the lights kept going off and coming on at random times. It was totally haunted. Took pictures of the room and developed them only to see some really strange stuff on my pics. My dog would bark at the ceiling and... More

What used to be a hunting lodge has now turned into a Bed and Breakfast. They are just turning ever so slowly. The room I was given had a sink and a toilet, the shower was at the end of the hall. It's always interesting when they show you how to use the broken sink knob. I slept well even... More

I stayed at the Hotel Turkey last year for my family reunion. The manager was very accomodating and the room was as old as the Hotel was. I really enjoyed my stay. Bed was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was excellent.

For Turkey Texas this hotel is okay, but is it on par with other bed and breakfasts in Texas? Not hardly. I have stayed here twice now. The main positive is the breakfast was really good. The main negative is that I personally thought it was just not clean. Also, there are repairs that need to be done. Did I... More

found this by accident. Turkey is hometown of Bob Wills, great country music legend. Hotel has seen its better days, wouldn't stay overnight, rooms are worn. We ate there and the food was very good. Wife had delicious mexican plate (special for day) and I had hamburger. Really good with homemade fries. Every 3 weekend in April, they have a... More

My hubby finally let me make our overnight accomodations...and I totally bombed!!! We were doing an eight mile hike at Caprock Canyon (the most amazing place in the panhandle), and I thought it would be nice to leave the camper at home...and treat ourselves. WRONG!! The only reason we stayed...is because we got tickled about it...and decided to turn it... More
