Ridiculously high rates for a Marriott just because it's on a concrete ditch full of water! No free breakfast, it's $20 for 2 eggs, coffee is $4 a cup. Internet is $10.95 to sign on and .59c a minute. This place is the classic "Gouge the uber rich business traveler" type of hotel. There are nicer places with more amenities... More

What a great, close get away for us in Houston. The Woodlands Art Show was this weekend and a night on the waterway was wonderful. Dinner at Mortons Grill and walking around to the fountains was great. The staff at the Marriott is great and they place is wonderful. Great time!

I stay here anytime there is a conference and technical meeting held at the conference center of this hotel. Accordingly, it is very convenient. Besides, the hotel is close to a suburbia shopping mall and many decent restaurants and bistros/pubs. You definitely enjoy strolling along the waterway/canal at the back of the hotel. Room is clean and comfortable.

First, the staff is awesome. They inquire if they can help, go the extra mile, and are very friendly & cooperative. Plenty of parking in the adjacent garage. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious, clean and well appointed.

My wife & I live on the South side of Houston and we enjoy attending concerts at the Woodlands Pavilion. On April 1 we went to see Nickelback (great show btw) and we knew that we going to get there a bit early, hang out, and start our relaxing mid-week break. So, we'd planned in advance on simply staying in... More

The Marriott Woodlands is a very cool hotel. I was in Houston for a business meeting and only stayed for two nights. But I really enjoyed the short time I was there. The hotel is part of a mixed use complex that consists of office buildings, apartments, condos and restaurants. It is also right next to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell... More

Had a great time spending a night here. Enjoyed the outdoor bar and restaurant area that evening. Very nice facility with very new development all around. Nice walkway along the water as well. Would stay again. Enjoyed the outdoor areas, shops, restaurants, etc. very nice and clean rooms.

I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the valets guys and the bell caps were nice and helpful. so here is the list of all the disappointments.. 1. my husband made reservations in January for a king room, at checkin we were told we had room with 2 double beds and no king was available even though we reserved... Dear Laurie ~ We are in receipt of your survey response. The goal of our hotel is to provide a totally enjoyable experience for all of our guests and we strive to do this daily. When a room is booked, it is common procedure online or through reservations, to put type of room requested, and that is always noted. Most... More

We have stayed at this hotel, attached to the convention center in The Woodlands, an exurb of Houston, maybe eight times over the last decade. In many ways, it is an excellent hotel, but it has a disturbing number of flaws. On the good side, it is located in a central location in this planned community. It is adjacent to... More

Went there for a convention (on the same Convention Center) . The room was well equipped and organized and clean . The safe was oddly located above the fridge , but it was lose , not attached to anything . Good pillows and bed overall , but the AC kept kicking in and out without consistency , and it seemed...
