Driving back from Chicago to Houston I needed a quiet place to stop for the night. This place was just what I needed. I arrived about 8 pm. My reservation was waiting in the members reward board, so check-in took about 30 seconds. The room was on the first floor but was very quiet, just far enough off of I-30... More

On a roadtrip across the country with my 2 Labrador retrievers, it's sometimes difficult to find a hotel that not only accepts pets, but accepts them without charging an additional fee, is clean, and comfortable. The LaQuinta in Texarcana fit the bill. They gave us a room on the first floor in the back so that it would make life... More

Traveling from south Texas means our drive was long. For 59 bucks we did'nt expect five stars. However, immediatly upon enter the musty funk of 40,000 years almost blew us away! We turned on the AC thinking it would air out the stench... WRONG! 2 hours into waiting for the room to cool down I stuffed dryer sheets in the... More

We have a pug so we needed a pet friendly hotel. We have stayed at quite a few LaQuinta`s and have always been pleased. This was completely different. Upon entering the room we were hit with the horrible smell of urine. There were stains on the floor and on the chair. If my husband had not been so tired I... More

Overall great stay and great value. Room smelled like mildew. Great service, quick checkin. Breakfast was good. I expected scrambled eggs, but they had boiled eggs instead. Waffles were very good. Checkout was quick too.

the inside of the rooms show their age. The beds looked like they were new but they where not level and your head is going down hill. The bathroom shower had bad water pressure. The service was great at this hotel very helpful staff. I would not stay here again until they remodel. For the price I should have know... More

We were traveling with a small dog so pet friendly was a must...wasn't expecting much due to the very low price and no pet deposit required. Our king size bed was more comfortable than a recent stay at a Sheraton where we paid 3 times as much. We had a new flat screen, several movie channels, and large desk my... More

Our stay at the la Quinta was very enjoyable. they have ample parking for the trailer and also are open to having our cat with us. Breakfast is a plus and the variety of food is good. Easy on and Easy off from the High way. Dominos Pizza delivered quickly and everyone was very friendly!
