I had to attend a funeral in Texarkana and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Cowhorn Drive. It was the most pleasant motel experience I've ever had. The room was spacious and beautiful and the bed, pillows and linens were wonderful. more

I had no idea a Holiday Inn would be this nice and comfortable. Any cheap hotel can put granite counter tops in their bathroom and claim to be high quality, but this place just surpassed my expectations. Yes the room had a very updated look. First of all, make sure you're checking out the right place - there are two Holiday Inn Expresses in Texarkana, one in Texas, and one in Arkansas. The one in Texas is this one and is far superior. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on October 24-25th and had a great stay. This is a new hotel and it is beautifully decorated. Everything was so clean and the rooms are great.
