This place is big fun and don't let the shared bathroom scare you off. Our sink/shower area was private and the toilet was in a separate room very near our room - think nicely appointed restaurant bathroom - nothing creepy about it. The room decor is fabulous, the staff is great, the bed new , fluffy new white towels and... More

Pros: Funky, beautifully set bungalows above the super-funky town of Terlingua. A town without a lot a good lodging. Short walk to coffee/breakfast and the Starlight, an experience in itself. Expensive but worth it. Cons: Funky; may have to share a bathroom (which are stunning). Not for everyone. Pricey but worth it.

Adorable decor, loved sitting outside, fresh cooking made to order. Relaxed kick back pace, don't be in a hurry.... But it's vacation and southwest Texas you should know better :-). The staff was super sweet. Breakfast burritos to die for.

Pictures do not do this hotel justice. My family of four loved our small intimate accommodations with views for miles into BB and over Terlingua. The rustic hippy chic place is super cool and walking distance from the general store and Starlight Cafe. We sat out at night with our own forefoot and looked at the stars and enjoyed the... More

We booked two rooms at la posada for valentines weekend. The reservation process was straightforward trough the phone and we arrived at 3:00 pm on Saturday to find a paper left at the coffee shop and a very rush attendant leaving for the day, stooping just long to tell us to follow a big sign arrow up the road. Arrived... More

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was great! We mountain biked in the National Park on one day and then rode horses in the State Park the next. La Posada is a very quaint place and is probably a step or two up from other options in the immediate area...and it shows in the price. We... More

I'm giving this hotel the full 5 rating! While it was perfect for us, I want to first point out a couple things that may not make it perfect for you. The bathrooms are not in your room. It's a short couple steps outside to the bathroom (but Mimi keeps it nice and warm during the cool evenings). Same thing... More

We stayed with 4 other friends in early December. After a delish dinner at the Starlight, we returned to blazing fires on the terraces, timed to perfection by the inn's caretaker. We sipped the wine we'd chilled in the fridge in the outdoor kitchen while we watched the stars. Yes, it would have been nice to have an en suite... More

La Posada Milagro is the place to stay in Terlingua. This is the place to go and reconnect with not only oneself but also with that special someone. Whether you are just beginning or have been together for 31 years. It is the kind of place that lets you love, laugh and talk the way it was in the beginning... More

I read quite a few reviews of this property prior to deciding on La Posada Milagro for my Big Bend experience. Overall the beauty, serenity, and location of this property is top notch and I would think it would be hard to top for the Terlingua area. Walking distance to the Starlight Theatre district with all of the locals gathering... More
