We loved this place! The casita (cabin) we stayed in for five nights was very clean and peaceful. Every day we had someone come in to tidy our space and they always left fresh towels, soap, coffee, etc. The kitchenette was stocked with bowls, cups, coffee mugs, and popcorn. There were plenty of channels to watch on TV when we... More

Far Flung exceeded our expectations before we even arrived. These folks will do what they can, within reason, to make your trip the best ever. The Casitas are clean, comfortable, cute and perfectly located. We had a Casita in the back We stayed in the Casitas before & after our river trip. The plan is to come back & stay... More

Just stayed at the Far Flung Casitas, and it was the nicest place I've stayed in the region. Your digs are a small casita, super clean, front porch with rockers, shower, efficiency kitchen with mini fridge and micro, tv, and comfortable beds and linens that are parched like the Texas sun. The location is convenient enough (we're talking vast distances... More

"simple room, very clean" would be my summary of the Big Ben Casitas. We were on the front side of the property so you can hear road traffic & people coming & going who are staying on the property at all times. Our main goal was seeing Big Bend for this trip. If i had to do it all over... More

We (5 grown ups) stayed here for a birthday weekend. The folks at the front desk couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The casita is large, spotless and has a mini-fridge, microwave, & coffee pot with everything you need in the kitchenette-including coffee and popcorn. There's an awesome ice machine and sturdy rockers on the porch for great stargazing. The... More

A nice comfortable little wood-house in an area so far away from everything, you can see all the stars of the universe during the night. People who run the centre are kind and professional. The organise many activities, we just rent the cabin during 4 night and it was a good experience. It' also the closest place to big bend... More

Very clean units, spacious and with a generous kitchenette. Outdoor courtyard is beautifully landscaped, with grill. Staff is friendly and helpful. This outfitter also does water trips and jeep trips. We rented a jeep from them for a day and it was a good experience. Great gift shop and sundries on site as well. We'll be back.

We stayed 3 nights in one of the casitas and we loved it. There are many nice touches, such as a heater in the bathroom, table and chairs in the kitchenette, labels on all of the light/fan switches (this is a great idea), really soft sheets, rockers on the porch and a nice courtyard area with a lot of native plants... I have stayed at several places in the area around Big Bend National Park and can state that this is the best place I have found. The Casitas are very clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. And very quiet. Am I over using the word "very"? Well, if you stay somewhere else nearby you will be very disappointed. Looking... More

There are not too many places to stay near Big Bend National Park but are we glad we chose the Casitas in Terlingua. A home away from home at the end of a long day of exploring the park. Immaculate, comfortable with everything needed to set up vacation housekeeping. Try a canoe ride with Far Flung also. Really fun!
