Before we put a review in, we want to encourage you to keep in mind that you are visiting a part of Texas that has a very low population density, it is far away from major cities, and it has a lower economy. Having said that expectation set for this environment will find this resort a comfortable place to stay... More

Perfect location for a Big Bend trip. Off season for Big Bend is travel season for us. Rooms were clean and roomy and having a restaurant, gas and a convenient store next door makes life easier. Loved watching the rabbits in the morning and afternoon. Also, in the back of the motel they have a room to sit and log... More

If you remember that you are in the desert, and no major population centers are nearby, you should know you won't be staying at a 5 star resort. But if you want to visit the beautiful Big Bend National Park, this isn't a bad option. The driveway is rustic, the room is a bit worn, and there is no internet... More

Should have looked elsewhere! Road to sites is dirt, bumpy and not grated. Thank God its not raining! Can't even sit outside because the very small area between sites is tore up. Since there's no Walmart parking lot, guess were stuck till morning. Hotel has cable, but not at the rv sites...not clearly stated on the website. Also only has... More

Surely one of the least kept lodgings I have stay. Bathroom: Walls in the tub surround was crumbling, shower curtain was hazard due to the overlap into the tub. Bedding not changed during our stay. Blanket was really dirty. Found nothig positive about this place except the staff was pleasant.

If I were going this way again, I would totally avoid Terlingua and any of the motels in the area. It was dirty, thread-bare sheets, and no Internet connection unless you were in the lobby. Walls were thin, and neighbors were very noisy. The only reason we stayed there was because the Chisos Lodge in the park recommended this motel.... More

Staff is helpful and efficient, they’ve got lots of different amenities. Simple RV space, but Thank You, for the trees! Please keep feeding them water! Motel accommodations and “cabins”. This place is a great center for activities in the Big Bend region. They’ve got a Café serving meals 7 days a week, a convenience store, and a gas station (this... More

This was recommended by the National Parks service as our initial choice did not have the type of room we wanted (with a private bathroom). While this had a private bathroom, that is the only thing it had going for it. Very old and dated. The upholstery and carpeting likely dated back to when smoking was allowed everywhere. Definitely had... More

Because we weren't able to get a reservation at the Lodge in the park and the National Parks Reservation service recommended this place, we made our reservation. It ranks up there with the worse place we ever stayed. Sheets were threadbare, bedspreads were old and tired, decor was dated, carpet had stains, repaired crack in the bathtub, no hair dryer... This place is just running into the ground and the rooms are filthy. Nastiest place I have ever stayed at. Our group had three rooms in the Inn section main building where the front desk is. All rooms were the same, DIRTY. When we expressed our concerns, no one really cared and started defending the housekeepers....like it their fault there... More
