Somehow I ended up booking this property through NATIONAL PARKS RESERVATIONS as an online booking (linked to the property's web page). THEY CHARGED 10% OF OUR TOTAL ESTIMATED ROOM COST JUST TO BOOK. For two rooms, 4 nights this came to be $86.00 - just to book it. I have tried to dispute this, but got caught in the fine... More

Just a quick review here after returning from a Big Bend extended weekend. I agree with Adam, a previous reviewer: "This hotel is perfectly fine for the area. It is older, and a bit run down, but hopefully you didn't come here for the accommodations. We showered here and slept here." My friend and I almost didn't even consider staying... More

Paper thin walls....motorcycles (dirt bikes!) revving up at 6:00 AM after waking up and holding their club meeting at 4:30 AM...Front desk workers who suggest you use your cell phone because the hotel employee can't figure out how to connect a call your room....an awful place to stay...mostly because no one who owns the hotel wants to invest any profit... My first thought as we drove up is that "Resort and Adventures" is definitely an over promise. When we couldn't get into the National Park's accommodations, this is what I was offered by the same reservation service. We were making plans pretty quickly for this trip, so unlike most trips I take, I didn't look further. This is your very... More

This hotel is perfectly fine for the area. It is older, and a bit run down, but hopefully you didn't come here for the accommodations. We showered here and slept here. As long as you are out and about during the day, it is fine. Water pressure was great for the shower. We stayed in #14 which was right out... More

Dirty!! There was a q-tip sitting on the heater, hair all over in the bathroom, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in about 2 months. I didn't take a shower because it was too gross. Walls are obviously paper thin, I could hear people talking in normal voices all night. The lady at the front desk when we checked in... More

We stayed 5 nights at the RV park. The park was not full which was nice. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant and laundry on the grounds. You can also fill up your propane here. The only drawback was there was not a lot of water pressure.

This was our second year spending a few days in the 2 bedroom apt. It was acceptable. It was clean and reasonable since we split the cost 2 ways...making it $100 per night. The staff was friendly enough. They did accommodate us but certain items you would expect to be supplied having rented the apt with a full kitchen. We... More

We did enjoy our stay from the friendly welcome to the delicious breakfast (not included). The room itself was pretty old but very clean and as some else commented the walls are very thin but the heater was good and the shower hot and we slept well. I think it is a more pricey than other motels of its type... More

We were charged over $100/night by a very unfriendly receptionist for a dirty room in the back building that's literally falling down and should be condemned. There are mice in the rooms, walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbours snoring, and our window had a gaping hole in it. When we told Terlingua locals where we were... More
