Our room was the cheapest in Terlingua at $60. It was a small, but clean room. Dark. I wish the bathroom light was brighter, and the thick shower curtain didn't help the matter. Great hot water pressure. Love the proximity to Big Bend. Bunnies running everywhere on property, make sure you don't run over them. Wifi signal was weak all... More

We stayed 4 nights in the jewel colored cabins on site. They are quaint & comfortable, quiet and very clean. The cabin that we had was super large with a full kitchen and all of the kitchen items that you could want. It was very handy for preparing lunches to use in Big Bend. The location was great for being... More

Rented the two bedroom cottage for four nights in April. Although clean, it was falling apart. Thought i would go through the floor of the tub every time I took a shower. Lights did not work, and it was not for lack of light bulbs. The "outdoor space" was metal folding chairs on dirt. The only redeeming factor was location... More

Probably one of the most interesting places I have stayed. Friendly and absolutely cooperative staff, the best prices in area, absolutely fine location, good conditions and the view! Will definately go back asap!

Perfect little spot if you're on a budget. Super close to great restaurants and coffee shops. Tiny bathrooms, not many outlets, and televisions that don't really work -- but who really needs all that anyway? :) Kick up your feet in the morning and night and sip some beverages. Would return again and recommend to others.

We stayed in their large Santa Fe Suite over Spring Break, which is Big Bend's busiest season. We were lucky to get such a nice place as late as we booked. The condo was huge. Big bedroom with king size bed and coach, big living room with 2 futons, a couch, recliner chair, TV and DVD player. Honestly, one of... More

Stayed in a 1 BR condo, #38 and was greatly surprised and pleased. Especially after reading the reviews. The condo is a small duplex house, up on a hill, across the road from the main hotel, with great views of the surrounding mountains. The condo is very spacious with a good sized living room/dining area/kitchen combo. A very large bedroom... More

When I first walked in the room in the motel, I was overwhelmed by the smell of bug spray. And then I saw the room. I think they filmed one of the scenes from 'No Country for Old Men' here. I was late in booking a room in Terlingua and I will never be again. Everything in the town is... More

If you're into high comfort, then this isn't the place for you. Then again, Big Bend is probably not your kind of place if you're into five-star lodgings. On the other hand, if you're OK with a rustic, no-frills kind of place, then you'll do just fine here, and you'll really enjoy the low price. A basic room is essentially... More

I booked a "home" in this place. Comes with two bedrooms, a dining room, a living room and a kitchen,. Has one bathroom only. I was a bit apprehensive when booking first as they wanted me to mail them a check. In any case since the Chisos Mountain Lodge was overbooked, I just booked this place. Looked it up on... More
