Low rent Terlingua here...don't expect much of anything but an old room. Nonetheless, when I come off the trail I'm looking for a hot shower and a bed at a bargain. Would recommend to the hiker Trash crowd.

made last minute reservations through central park hotline. needed pet friendly,3 rooms for 3 nights. was extremely nervous after reading reviews. pleasantly surprised. Janine was an helpful and welcoming host. The rooms may be dated and lacking facilities like coffee maker, microwave and fridge, which can be a problem if staying more than over night. How ever the rooms were clean... More

We rented the Santa Fe condo here so we're not on the main site but further down the road up on higher land. The condo itself is basic but does the job. The views however are stunning, we woke up for sun rise and it was magical. Great location for the Big Bend National Park and also Terlingua. Very peaceful.

Simple, clean motel with friendly and kind innkeeper. Nothing fancy, but this is extreme Terlingua, and there are two choices -- country gentleman and hoi poloi. Count me grateful for the good advice and the location that allows an early start on hiking.

The staff was super nice and very helpful about the area. That's where the good ends. Very rustic - no coffee maker, microwave, frig, just a bed. Tiny bathroom with shower very poor water pressure and potty you can't put t-paper in. Shower curtain mildewed, towels old worn and smell chemical. Floors are sticky and wavy, not flat. Plywood walls... More

Best thing was its location in Terlingua, outside the Big Bend National Park and close to the outfitters for the river trips, and its availability over spring break. The road and parking lot are dirt and stone. But hey, this IS the desert. A "Cabin" is better than a motel room, with double beds, and a kitchen. I wouldn't use the... More

nothing special here except a place to crash for the nite.. came in off a long motorcycle ride and they accommodated our needs. the more we talked to the front desk manager.. the friendlier she became.. gave us a cabin for the nite even though rules state a two night stay minimum. Hot shower, clean sheets is all I needed... More

I knew it would be bad when they made us pay for all nights of our reservation in advance. The whole place is pure filth. The bed had an odor, so I'm not even sure it had been changed. For your money you get no hair dryer, no ice, no Kleenex, and threadbare, stained sheets, towels and furniture, The carpet... More

Recently stayed here for one night to visit Big Bend. The single room was very simple and "bare bones". Had to reach into the toilet lid to make it flush, and the toilet seat had a nasty stain on it. Otherwise, was a perfectly adequate place to stay for a night. AC worked great. Highly recommend visiting Terlingua during your... More
