We stay here every time we go through Sweetwater. The rooms are clean, the hot breakfast is nice and the service is sweet. If having a modern couch is worth $30 a night to you, then this isn't the place for you... But if you want a clean place to stay with Texas shaped waffles and great customer service than... More

It is a property that is starting to show a little age but is well kept. It had a small refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV. Everything worked fine. The hot breakfast as comparable to the more expensive hotels. Rates here and in the area are higher than normal due to competition from oil related workers. The restaurant in front... More

This entire area is gouging travelers because of the oil field workers. To pay $90.00 for this room is robbery - but sadly, it was the only place in town. The linens are cheap, the towels skimpy, the air conditioner in the wall rattles. I can feel the bed springs through the mattress. I booked thru Travelocity and noted that... More

We stayed here for a night. We had a king size bed, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The decor is a little outdated, but that was all. Our room was great as well as the breakfast. For 2 people and our 2 dogs on a weekend it was less that $100. Overall it was a great place to stop and... More

Weary travelers looking for an inexpensive place to crash with clean rooms and excellent service? Here you go. It is $20 - $50/night less than anything else between Brownwood and Lubbock for those heading to/from Texas to New Mexico. We arrived very late (11:30 PM - midnight?) on a Wednesday evening. I had tried to use my iPhone to book... More

We stayed here because it was halfway to the mountains in New Mexico, and I did not know what to expect. This motel is a wonderful find and we plan on staying there next time we stay in Sweetwater. It was clean - spotlessly so - and the rooms were easily 30% larger than most in motel chains in this... More

We are touring the US from East to West trying to choose hotels just under $100/night so I can compare many ‘similar’ hotels. We paid $98 (tax and $15/dog included) for 4. This is definitely the best value of the trip (with the Ramada North in Louisville). For once photos are worse than the reality! Such a pleasant surprise. We... More

The room was nice, comfortable queen beds, the bathroom needed some upkeep. The bathroom doorknob didn't work and the toilet seat needed replacing. Friendly service and very nice breakfast area with a wide variety of choices. Overall a nice stay for traveling through.

Needed a place to stay traveling across country. Booked online through Orbitz and selected from the website from the pictures. Pictures are deceiving. It was not as well maintained as the website made it appear. The pesron who checked us in was extremely nice and helpful. We do not particuarly like the motel sytle accomodations, but were willing to try... More

This was a great place to stay for weary folks making the long drive from Dallas to California. First of all -- It was $81 with tax -- which was about 40 less than anything we could find between Abilene and BIg Spring. No, it was not elegant... The bed headboards did not match, and the towels were pretty thin.... More
