This place is almost useless as to even being in Stephenville. I'll give them a C for "effort" as they have attempted to remodel the rooms over the years and make it look somewhat modern. However there is attempting something, and doing something. What's the point of putting in something modern, if it doesn't work? Cool little towel storage area... More

Our priorities for this trip were that the property be clean, safe, and economical. Motel 6 Stephenville hit on all points. It's an older property with uniquely renovated rooms. Very different from the standard motel look. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping even added a nice touch by arranging our youngest daughters stuffed animals nicely in her pillow. Very cool.... More

Normally I would not give a 4 star rating to a motel but this place is different. There are not lots of choices for places to stay in Stephenville and so that affects the rating. Its not a resort or a four seasons but given the choices in the area I am going to give them a little extra for... More

Can't beat the price of this clean, safe, and updated motel. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. My room had a microwave and mini fridge. I did think it was odd that there was no shampoo or hair dryer but at $50 a nite, I can't complain. Walmart and restaurants are close. My one complaint is the NOISE.... More

This motel was a pleasant surprise. The property was either brand new or recently updated and renewed. The only bad thing was an alternate door lock that needed replacing. Mgt said they would fix it now that they were aware. Updated interior of the room from the one I stayed at in Oklahoma just a month ago in Stillwater.

Do NOT stay at this hotel!! My husband and I stayed here when we went to my sister's wedding. The floor was not clean, there were bugs all over the room. The ceiling in the restroom was falling apart and the shower head kept coming out of the wall. There are much better places to stay and Stephenville and we... More

We had the misfortune to have to stay at the Magnuson (formerly Days Inn). Because Tarleton University was having graduation weekend there were no rooms available in Stephenville except here - and when we saw our room we knew why they had rooms available. Old we can live with; filth is another story. It's a good thing we had a... More

Had a change of plans and held our meeting here instead of a hotel just down the road. We were pretty demanding, but "Our Ladies of Reception" made it all happen. Moving furniture, rescheduling other events, raising our spirits with their positive energy, chiming in with their Tex/Mex humour. All were noted and appreciated.

Our stay at the Stephenville TX, Magnuson (Day's Inn) was made memorable by two incredible young ladies working the front desk. In all my travels I have never encountered more helpful, cheerful staff. Their names were Yesenia and Eloisa. Beginning with a cheerful greeting when we stepped into the door, they went above and beyond to make sure we were... More
