We stayed at The Reserve for our anniversary in November 2013 and loved it so much we went back in June 2014. It's quite a bit away from most main attractions in Austin, but the location on the lake is beautiful for scenery. Deer, wolves, rabbits and lots of other wildlife can be seen on the drive up to the... More

The Reserve was all around a great place to stay. We stayed in a one room cabin. Even though it's close to other cabins, it is quite private. You can lay out on the porch without worry of anyone seeing you. It has a nice little yard. The room itself was modern and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The TV... More

We just spent a few days in Cabin 6 with another couple at the Reserve. We went during the off season and basically had the infinity pool / slide / lazy river to our selves. The place is well kept, the cabin was AWESOME, nothing short of luxe. Loved the fireplace, the master bath was beyond expectations, as well as... More

My wife and I booked time away at the luxury cabins at The Reserve. We had read the reviews on TripAdvisor and not one was negative. We can only add to the positive feedback from our incredible stay we just came back from. There are only a handful of cabins so the experience was quiet and peaceful. Each cabin is... More

We were there in the winter the first time. We couldn't do anything (too cold for the marina and pool) besides relaxing in the beautifully furnished and decorated cozy cabin, walking around, driving outside for other activities and chilling at the Lodge enjoying the delicious food and admiring the peacefully view of the lake. That was probably one of the... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin which was very nice. Would have appreciated blinds on the high windows in master bedroom as moon light hit us right in the face, a dish drainer, dish soap and sharp knife in the kitchen, and more waste baskets. Light above kitchen sink was out and living room ceiling fan broken. Pool area... More

A surprise jewel! We had no idea what to expect. I concur with all of the other reviews. Our stay here was so delightful. The grounds are well kept and the cabins were beautiful and private. My husband and I could tell that the design was well thought out for the benefit of the guests. We will definitely return and... More

This is one of my favorite getaways in Texas!! They have a great onsite restaurant with beer and wine. Chef Patrick pretty much made our weekend with his meals and hospitality! Liquor is not served at the restaurant (or at least when we went), only the pool bar, which was closed, since it was November. The individual cabins are AMAZING... More

This is a top notch resort secluded in the hills of Lake Travis. The cabins are clean, new, and very well kept; and although they are close together you will never hear or see your neighbors. The pool is large enough to not feel crowded even on the warm summer days, and has an excellent view of the lake. It... More

Hidden in the Texas hill country on the beautiful shores of Lake Travis are the cabins at The Reserve at Lake Travis. My husband and I went on Monday thru Weds so it was like we had the place to ourselves. The cabins are wonderful..each with their own private patio, "zen" garden, indoor/outdoor shower..and beautifully decorated. The grounds are lush... More
