For a KOA, which usually has some basics you can expect, this was lacking. Internet does not work, don't expect it. The front bathrooms were locked by 5pm with a "sorry" sign, but the apology doesn't help much when there are almost 200 sites in a campground and 3 shower/ bathroom stalls to serve all guests. For $65 (mid-priced site,... More

This KOA is located on the south end of South Padre Island. Convenient location for the beaches, but not really within walking distance. Very crowded and tight. Reservations for a pull-through do not guarantee a pull-through. The park is all gravel and asphalt. Asphalt roads, large gravel at the sites, difficult for bare feet. Absolutely no green areas for dogs... More

In reality there really is NO wifi here as advertised. Only access is going to the office building & even that required them to re-set it. Very disappointing if it is a factor in your stay. There is no beach, and the pool is a zoo (& cloudy color) on weekends. Staff tried to help but all they can do... More

I booked the Airstream for 2 nights. Palm trees was just soothing, nice winds. The Bed was comfortable (Very Important factor for me). There were 2 TV's. Kitchen was well equipped. Airstream was well maintained and Clean. Just make sure do not use Hair Dryer and AC together, power will shut down. When I called the office for help, they... More

We stayed in Cabin 4, which is considered a deluxe cabin. The cabin had a beautiful view of the water. However, the cabin was in need of updating. The bathroom had mold and the shower curtain was reddish orange from mineral & mold staining. We arrived on a Friday afternoon. The cabin was ready immediately which was nice, since we... More

The spaces are very very tight and works if your neighbors are considerate. However, Spring Break is not conducive to relaxation with loud music and partying going on most of the night. I thought Spring Breakers do not usually go to KOA's, but now I know. Avoid going to a KOA during Spring Break if you are not a Spring... More

If we would have written this review after our stay in cottage 3 it would definitely been awesome! Cottage 3 was very clean and fresh, unfortunately we had to move to Cottage 8 because we decided to extend our stay. Cottage 8 had a terrible smell, was very dirty, had a tremendous amount of pet hair everywhere and was just... More

We rented an Airstream. It was a nice experience. One night we had no propane, but Jim, one of the stuff, solved the problem next morning. The campground manager was very great full. On the whole, the stay here was very worth able. The Glatz-Family from Cologne, Germany

We spent two nights in one of the deluxe cabins. The cabin was nice - a little run down but it was a pet unit so I expected some extra wear and tear. I was looking forward to peace and quiet but I had the misfortune to be in cabin 8 - at the end of the parking lot near... More

We rented one of the waterfront cabins for only 75.00 a night in off season. Upon arriving they were extremely helpful and offered a plethora of helpful information. Our cabin was very clean and solid . There were plenty of towels and blankets as well as kitchen utensils. There were 2 separate air/heating units that worked great by remote control.... More
