We chose the Travelodge both for the price and because the reviews here were pretty good. The room was clean and pretty basic. They did have HBO, which is a plus. We moved after two days because the hot water in the bathroom was never really hot, no m atter what time of day or night it was. In fact, the water in the swimming pool seemed warmer than the hot water for showers. The management seems a bit paranoid about losing towels. I witnessed a desk clerk calling a room to speak to a parent becaus e a child had come to get more towels. It sounded like they were a large family. The clerk insisted that they bring the dirty towels before clean towels would be issued. A beach hotel should expect people to use a lot of towels, and while they might w e ll want to keep track to make sure they get them all back in the end, they shouldn't require a trade everytime.
