The rooms are a bit dated, however the amenities make up for it. While on south padre island you should never be in your room! Security was always there on property and posted. My family and I felt safe! The rooms are nice and big! The parking lot is small as they share with the other hotels, other than that... More

we were told it was completely remodeled and it was not. everything was old and run down. dirty floors, rotted wood, broken appliances and those were the high lights. the people were nice and the location good.

A timeshare is never like living in your own home. However, after reading several of the previous reviews, I was very unsure of how the condo would look. When we arrived, Jacob and Raul were at the front desk. Both of the young men were very helpful. We were given keys to inspect units on the 6th and 14th floor... More

Me and my husband went for our third yr anniversary, and it was very nice. It was the last nice hotel that was available at a last minute decision and we were greatful that they had an availability for our stay. So we are hopefully staying at this hotel this time for our fourth yr anniversary. Thank you

We stayed Christmas week with our family in a two bedroom, two bathroom unit on 9th floor. The unit has been newly painted and the master suite bathroom has a beautiful new tiled walk-in shower. The unit is spacious and allowed our family plenty of room. The beds/furniture were adequate for a week's vacation. The staff was very helpful and... More

The hotel is definitely outdated, and needs a facelift. We stayed in 2 adjacent hotel rooms. The view was fabulous, as the rooms were on the end of the 14th floor. Everything in our unit was clean, but the appliances were old (ex: dishwasher). The fridge didn't have an ice maker, so you had to either use the ice machine... More

Poor organization from the staff. Only one parking pass allowed for the two bedroom suit, so when asked where we could park the second car, they told us by the guard shack. A $300 tow later, and nobody seemed to be responsible, because it was off their property. Lesson learned don't trust the staff.

Staying in the r9147 and it seemed clean but when we pulled the duvet covers back and opened the shower curtains we found otherwise. Blood stain on one of the full duvets, hairs in the king bed, mold on the other full duvet, filthy cabinets and showers. Lobby was dirty and had food all over the floor and it smelled... More

Do not go to the "royal beach and tennis club". Just left there spent a week enduring filthy disgusting beds. Mold on all the air vents. Mold on the kitchen sink. One burner on the stove working. Pull out sofa was gross. After 7 requests and the maid swearing at my husband we had to buy an air mattress for... More

My family and returned 7/13 from a 3 day stay at the Royale Beach and Tennis Club - Saida Tower IV. 2 bdrm/2ba w/ kitchenette. Very spacious for a group of 5. The carpet did need to be updated as well as the master dresser smelled as though it has recently housed wet clothing for a period of time. Both... More
