Very nice quiet hotel close to the beach. We had the upstairs room with a veranda that was great to just relax and leave all our beach stuff. My husband and son enjoyed the pool and the beach access was a short walk. Would highly reccommend unless you really want an ocean view. more

The South Beach Inn on South Padre Island is a dump. The furnishings are ancient (not antiques mind you, ancient), the appliances heavily rusted and filthy, and the smell of our room was awful.
