We had a great visit at the Katy House. The inn keepers were very nice and made a special effort to accommodate the breakfast needs of my 4 year old. The jalapeno cheese grits and the home made bread were wonderful. more

The Katy House was a wonderful family friendly bed and breakfast. In fact all three generations agree that we can't wait to go back. Enjoy the breakfast, g on an excursion to Smithville downtown, or go to Bastrop or to Austin, or go to all of them, then go back to the Katy house for the cookies. more

Katy House and Smithville offer a great weekend getaway spot with memories to spare. We were looking for a stress-free escape within a few hours of Houston when we stumbled across this B&B online. The house and the town were only topped in charm by our wonderful hostess Sallie. The pups were friendly and well-mannered and the food was wonderful.... more

I attended a retreat at the Katy House and had a wonderful time. The hosts, Sally & Bruce, are very warm & friendly, the house was spotless, the food excellent, the bed comfortable, and the bedrooms very large. Katy house was simply an amazing and most relaxing experience my girlfriend and I have had in a while. Everything from the hosts Sallie and Bruce to the rooms, breakfast, Buddy and William and Smithville was just perfect. Katy House is a charming victorian that sits just off Main Street in Smithville. We were greeted by Sallie then by her Corgis William and Buddy who definitely add to the ambiance of the house.
