Mark and Lauren were wonderful hosts - even putting cookies out in the room before we got back from our daily travels. They work hard to keep it up and work hard to make sure you have a restful time. They made recommendations as to where to go and the place is set up so that you can come and... More

We stayed 10 days at this lovely B&B in the small town of Smithville, away from the hustle and bustle of busy Austin and it´s crowded motorways. The place is gourgious, the hosts Lauren and Mark made us feel more than welcome and at home. Breakfast was delicious and we had a lot of fun together. Besides I never met... More

A little off the beaten path ( Just a short side trip from Austin), Auberge is the place to go. Lovely rooms, good food, with good folk. Mark and Lauren are wonderful hosts who have become friends. We found we had so much in common, and they can turn you onto the places to visit in Smithville if that is... More

My boyfriend and I spent my birthday weekend relaxing in Smithville and La Grange and really enjoyed staying at the Auberge near downtown Smithville. Our room was cozy and quiet with a super comfortable bed and private bathroom. We loved the concrete floors - just feels so much cleaner and simpler. We took advantage of the backyard pool to cool... We stayed at Auberge this past weekend, and everything was perfect. Smithville is a cute little town, and the B&B is smack in the middle. What we liked most is that each guest had their own self contained room--no shared hallways or bathrooms like other B&Bs. Our hosts were gracious, great stories, and a delicious breakfast. The decor was cute... More

My husband and I stayed at this B&B on July 2006 when we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, it was our first time in Smithville. We were pleasantly surprised by the innkeepers, Mark and Lauren, with a wonderful dinner along with really nice wine. Their breakfast is quite great too. They went out of their way to ensure we had... More

The area near hear was ravaged by the Bastrop fires not long ago. We were down there helping with a shelter at the time and decided we wanted to go back afterwards. We found Auberge La Grange B&B and were there for just an overnight, but the experience was flawless and serenely relaxing. The rooms are immaculate and each uniquely... More

Nothing like what we expected. It was like staying at home. Lauren & Mark treat you like family. Would recommend this B&B over anything else in the area.
