We were in Slaton for a softball tournament this weekend and all the hotels in Lubbuck were booked. We usually stay at Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, ect. but those hotels were not an option this time, so we took a chance on the Knights Inn. This is a nice little hotel. It's clean, it has friendly staff, fresh breakfast items,... More

We needed a room in or near Lubbock, but since it was a home game weekend for Tech, many rooms were already booked. We decided on this hotel because it was convenient to Lubbock and also affordable. The room was perfectly fine - spacious, clean, and the wifi was good. The breakfast was pretty lacking, but that was fine. All... More

The room was clean and looked like new rugs. It had adequate WiFi, some cable stations, a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The lobby was not air conditioned which made breakfast uncomfortable. It was a continental breakfast and not the best but ok. Too hot in the lobby. There was also a garden in back with corn and a... Cigarette burns in the comforter and blanket, light over the sink didn't work, clock on the night stand didn't work, clock on the TV was several hours off, so instead of sleeping in, we woke up 2 hours early to have a crappy continental breakfast. And when I reported everything, no apologies, just blank stare and "we'll look into it".... More

Reception in process of being recarpeted with bare concrete floor. Breakfast average. Room furnishing average. Check-in rate very good. Updating furnishings needed. Location excellent. Request for lower level rooms granted.

We were visiting family in Slaton. Checked Tripadvisor saw there was only 1 hotel in town. Read the first couple of reviews, thought ok. Booked a non-refundable room. Arrived checked in, put stuff on beds and left to visit family. Got back around midnight. When we started looking around discovered room was quite icky. Mold in bathtub under the rim,... More

Slaton Texas is a quiet, rural community so you are either passing through or have an event in town. The room was clean throughout. Has free WiFi, cable, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and ample ice. Did not try the continental breakfast because there was a good Mexican restaurant (Casa de Miguel) in town and well-known bakery (Slaton Bakery). Highly recommended.
