We were looking for a getaway, and were looking for a quiet, peaceful place. (Since we love craft beer - we wanted to stay in Shiner, TX). This is a great location for hanging out and relaxing! The house is a beautiful old farm house renovated into a 2 room guest house. The owners are very polite and quick to give advice about places to go and things to see around Shiner. if we make it back this way we will definitely try and stay here again.... More

We've stayed at the Shiner Hillside Guesthouse at least 4-5 times in the past two years. Owners Laura and Gary are the nicest people! Located on a small, gravel county road, it can be a little intimidating to try and get to especially at night, but that quickly disappears once you arrive.
