This has to be one of the worst Hampton Inn's I've ever stayed at. Stayed here for friends' wedding in town. The carpet was dirty, there was mold around the bath tub, they gave you sub-standard sized pillows (why?), and the whole building smelled musty. Friends who stayed down the hall said they saw cockroaches in their room. Good thing... more

Sherman Texas, Hampton Inn on Michelle Drive My sister and I met for a weekend in Sherman Texas this year. I live in Little Rock Arkansas . My sister lives in Middland Texas. This is the first time I have been to the Hampton Inn in Sherman on Michelle Drive. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and the service is... more

We stayed here overnight, traveling through mid August 2008. Our non-smoking room was on the 3rd floor. Stepping out of the elevator, the smell of smoke was very strong in the hallway. I went down and asked the desk about it and they said there are smoking rooms on the 3rd floor also and that the smell must be leaking... more

This hotel needs updating. Everything looked old. Roof had been leaking and now parts of the ceiling was peeling and you could see streaks going down the wall where it had been wet. Found bugs in bathroom. The wall had about 3-4 feet section that the paint had been scrapped off. Bed was comfortable. Morning breakfast was waffles, sausage, danish,... more

We've stayed here several times over the last few months - we stay in Sherman on the way to my parents' house. Consistently friendly staff, consistently nice exercise/swim facilities, always clean, and best of all, the beds are GREAT! I will try to stay here whenever I need to stop in Sherman. I saw the earlier review regarding the parking... more

When I say best hotel, I mean best of a few. If this hotel were in other areas, I probably wouldn't stay. The Holiday Inn next door looks newer. Staff was very courteous and the breakfast personnel were very friendly. Overall, no major complaints. more

As far as highway motels go, you really can't beat this. It's close to a Starbucks, a Target, lots of restaurants, it's close to the highway - and it's clean and the people are nice. It's not the Four Seasons, but I was totally comfortable there. Oh - and one more thing - even though the hotel was packed, my... more

We are from California, so we are used to paying up the nose for hotels, but $100.00 a night in Sherman Texas is a bit steep. The hotel itself is safe and convenient. The pool is nice and the breakfast was above your average cereal and toast. Our room was nice and they had the most comfortable beds I have... more

OK this place is fine if you're just passing through. When we went there it was packed. The friendly staff does try to keep it clean and be helpful. But it's sort of small and cramped. The room was OK but sort of dark. The morning breakfast is average and the whole lobby had an unseemly smell during breakfast. The... more

Though the hotel is nice.. it is your standard Hampton Inn.. I would warn guests to be careful upon where they park their cars. We parked our car on the side, to be near a side entrance. Big mistake! Our car was broken into-- the criminals attempted to hijack the car. They ripped out the steering column and damaged the... more
