My wife and I are Texas Water Safari racers, and for part of our honeymoon, we traveled the length of the race from San Marcos to Seadrift staying at the Seadrifter Inn as a capstone (they provide showers for participants post-race - we have fond memories). This is an older little Inn. It was a little noisy but for the price it was nice. Near the boat docks, and we were able to watch the fishing boats leave and come in. It was nice walking along the bay front.

Great atmosphere - kind of an old-school throwback kind of hotel...Very good pool. Management used to be really great when Ken and Kathy were running it. They were always so friendly and helpful. We've stayed here quite a few times over the last few years and really enjoy using the annex rooms.

We stayed here for 2 days. When we first walked in, the place smelled very musty. There were 4 dead big water roaches on the bathroom floor. No ice machine. mold in the shower and mold on the frig gasket. The bedspreads smelled very bad like it hadn't been washed in a long time. Had trouble with the tv remote... More
