We stayed at the Outback Oasis last year while we were in Sanderson mule deer hunting and loved it. We stayed here again this year and once again were not disappointed. The owners are very friendly and helpful and ready to make sure you have a nice stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked great. They have... More

This is an old motel; the owner told me she thought it was built in the 1940s. My room, No. 12, was very small, but comfortable for an overnight stay. It has tile floors, and exposed rafters in the ceiling, and a rustic, simple charm about it. It had a new AC/heater, which allows you to digitally set the temperature... More

We got into Sanderson Friday afternoon and we were immediately met by a very friendly Women (house keeper Mrs. D, running the show while the owners were out of town) who was more than willing to answer all our questions we had. Then we went in to our rooms and we all were presently pleased with the size and cleanliness... More

We stayed here last night due to road closures. Hotel was great! From the moment we checked in owner was exceptionally sweet and understood our concerns about being stranded on the road. Hotel was almost completely book and we were checked in right was to room 7.

We were on a bicycle trip and stumbled upon this wonderful motel. The outside is not fancy but the rooms are a surprise. It was decorated in western decor and very clean. The air conditioner, wifi and shower worked great. The price was reasonable. It was convenient to have the Dairy King across the street. They have excellent breakfast tacos.... More

When traveling out to West Texas, and need a night's stay . . I stop at the Outback Oasis for several reason. This stay was great as ususal: Best quality for the dollar, good wifi, good location, best in personal customer service - and the decor is a cool West Texas style.

I pulled into Sanderson as it was getting late. Knowing that I didn't want to drive the 120 miles on to Del Rio, where the motel would be found, I opened my eyes for lodging with fairly low expectations, considering how small Sanderson is. I was pleasantly surprised to come upon the Outback Oasis. The family that runs this place... More

... but were pleasantly surprised. The motel shows a nice touch everywhere, rooms are large and well-equipped, clean and comfy. The manageresss is very helpful and gave tips regarding dinner and breakfast ( of course, not too many options here). Additional blankets were provided.

I spent a few days at the Outback Oasis Motel and found it to be a great place to stay. Ruth and Roy are very accommodating and took care of all of my needs, and I had needs!! The rooms are comfortable and clean, and being masonry they keep a pretty steady temperature. Some rooms have carports on either side,... More
