Be aware of this lodge in San Saba if there's a need to cancel. My husband and I booked a room there for July 4. I needed to cancel my reservation, however, when I called, there was only an answering machine to take my message that I needed to cancel. I was charged for the night due to the 48... More

Everything was great! Service was outstanding and room was comfortable and so clean. I wasn't for sure what I was getting into when I booked this place. I will be back again. Very unique place. T. Tripp

Burnham's Lodging has obviously been refurbished in what was originally a commercial site across from the Courthouse in San Saba. They did a lovely job with the rooms...understated decor, beautiful fixtures in the bathroom, all very clean. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable...great shower in the bathroom with plenty of outlets and room to spread out. If... More

I came to San Saba on business. Normally I only stay in 3-star + chain hotels, but obviously that wasn't a choice here, so I booked a room here. I was instructed by the owner to call her when I got to town. I got in late that night, around 11:30 and called, getting voice mail. I left a message... More

My husband and I stayed here with our 4yr old son this past weekend for the Pecan Jam Festival. A great little place. Simple, clean and had Wi-Fi, which was a luxury since our cell phones would not work anywhere else in town. Bathroom was nicely updated and bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Had to stay in San Saba for a night and chose this lodge due to its trip advisor rating. The lodge is super small and I'm sure we were the only ones there. Room was small but very clean. Price was very affordable. Will def stay here again when I come back to town. The only con is that there... More

My family was passing through town on a road trip. Our truck broke down and needed a place to stay. We stay in tons of hotels and inns across the country but have rarely felt so at home. The room was spotless! Beds to die for! Lots of unexpected upgrades. But the service by far is the reason we will... More

We loved it. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. She put an extra blow up bed for my granddaughters and they loved it! Refridgerator & coffee maker with plenty of supplies. In back of a beautiful old bldg.

We stayed several days while exploring the area to enjoy the wildflowers and Bend State Park. The rooms are new spaces built within old storefronts in downtown San Saba. As a previous reviewer noted the rooms don't have windows and there is no ice machine. But what it does have are very nice, spotless rooms that are furnished with antiques,... More
