This is the absolutely worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life! Number one they charged over $170.00 a night for a room that was maybe...maybe worth $50!. The grounds and rooms are dirty and unkept. There was no coffee in the rooms. The window coverings would not close and it was a horrible, experience .... especially... More

We stayed here for the Formula one weekend, as its only 30 mins drive away from Circuit of the Americas. The Motel is in a good location, and is a short drive to the downtown area of San Marcos. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast although basic was nice. The rooms are basic standard motel rooms, which were... More

I stayed here for one night and it was horrible to the max. The room was dirty, the towels and sheets stained, and the A/C went out in the middle of the night. The ONLY saving grace was the overnight staff Sean. He switched us into a much better room in the middle of the night and was as courteous... More

I read alot of bad reviews about this place but I did not find much worth complaining about. There were some boisterous boys staying at the other end of the building, but they quieted down when night came. Of course, if you're afraid of all black people, then it would not make a difference how quiet or noisy they were.... More

We were extremely happy with our stay. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful -- we messed up our booking but they sorted us out and we stayed at no extra cost!

Essentially this is a hotel to stay overnight... The rooms are "clean". However the restrooms are in a very poor state. I found a "soap leftover" in my room that should have been retired by the cleaning team. I will not recommend this hotel for more than a sleepover.

It would probably surprise you to know that I am a Sales Director for a major hotel chain. We stayed here for several reasons --the proximity to Texas State, the price and they are pet friendly. Yeah, the hotel could use a major renovation. HOWEVER, it has this awesome retro vibe, the beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great.... More

We stayed here for just over a week in September at a decent rate. The rooms were just ok but the beds were mediocre, the breakfast was pretty meagre but the pool and surroundings were very nice, it was quite near the freeway which encouraged workers and I wouldn't advise a lady on her own to stay there. Housekeeping was... More

Property ok, A/C not ok. We paid cash, and pet fee when we checked in, 10 dollars. Our mistake was not getting a receipt then, as we usually get it when we check out. Next morning, owner claimed we paid no pet fee, and showed us receipt that did not include it. My husband told him that night clerk must... More
