Stayed in the Pedernales room for 3 nights. Was hot when first arrived but realized the vents were completely closed. Once open room was very comfortable. Linens were fresh everyday with fresh towels and supplies. The breakfasts were great and we also had a picnic lunch prepared for us that was just wonderful. Hats off to Terri, Regina, Tracy, Paula... This trip was a surprise from my husband, and he really picked a great place! From the picnic lunch when we arrived, to the wonderful restaurant they recommended, to the in-room breakfast, and finally the wonderful spa treatment and massage...this was a great experience. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice couples getaway.

This is a popular BandB and I would not discourage anyone from staying there. Having said that you should understand the website paints a different picture than the actual facilities. We were not in a beautiful old home but rather an old house that needed work. Ice box was not stocked. No shampoo that we could find. Dirty towels not... More

This is my first B&B and I just couldn't a be happier. The location is excellent just off the courthouse square, with lots of bars and restaurants. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lusie fixed my breakfast each morning and it was whatever I wanted. I have a small service dog and the dog was treated just... More

People here are very nice and accommodating. It's a gorgeous place and the breakfast is AMAZING. The garden is the perfect place to sit and read a book. The rooms are nice and it's a very affordable price. We will never go anywhere else in San Marcos.

My wife and I stayed over Veterans Day weekend and had a terrific time. We checked into our room - The Frio - which was very nice and the staff were very friendly. They offered us a nice wine and cheese social hour in the evening and provided suggestions on nearby restaurants. Our King bed was very comfortable, and in... More

Such an awesome place. Everyone was accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! The garden was lovely and we were able to sit outside and enjoy our coffee in the mornings with friends. We were here as part of a college reunion weekend. We ALL agreed we will definitely be back!

I stayed at the crystal rivers b&b for a weekend for my uncles wedding and it was dreamy, picture perfect. I highly suggest this bed and breakfast. The food is great, the staff are super friendly and respectful. And the wedding spot is beautiful, I give this b&b a 10/10

What a shame - were really looking forward to a 2 night break here. Stayed in Pedernales Room in St.Thomas House next door - the room was hot and stuffy - unable to open windows - looked as though they had been stuck for years - room needed a lot of tlc. The en suite needed a good clean. Very... More
