We have stayed at the La Quinta in San Marcos several times when visiting our daughter at Texas State. It is very convenient to campus. The rooms are always clean, the beds very comfortable and the breakfast is good - nothing elaborate, but all you need in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

It's okay if you are there just for one night, to sleep. Even that maybe problematic, like it was with us. La Quinta always seems to be clean, and is always dog friendly. Those are the main concerns I always have when I'm out of town. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when my dog Bubba came to visit me the second night. Thank You.

We stayed here with an entire group of families traveling with a select baseball team. This is a hotel / motel. Some rooms have doors that open to the parking lot and then there is a separate wing, actually detached from the main motel, and it has all indoor rooms.
