What an amazing quaint peaceful BB. Nestled in the woods making it very private but just minutes from town. The hospitality and kindness from Jon and his lovely wife Laura started with reservations. 2 days before VDay they had a cancelation which was awesome for us. Upon arrival , we were greeted with warm hospitality. We walked Into our room... More

This was an oasis of peaceful country elegance after three hectic days in San Antonio. Our room was very well equipped and very clean....the huge shower was wonderful. Deer on the road and birds singing in the trees as we went for an early morning walk...followed by an excellent breakfast. Thank you Jon and Laura!

My stay at the Lime Kiln Vineyard Bed & Breakfast was nothing short of magical. The accommodations were wonderful, spacious and elegantly appointed, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and local happenings. The morning meal was spectacular, to name it merely “breakfast” seems understated, and my special requests and dietary restrictions were met with helpful... More

We planned vacation with our grand daughter and after reading several hotel reviews that left much to be desired, we decided to contact Lime Kiln. My husband and I knew we made the right decision within two hours of arrival. We were a tad early for check in but were able to put our bags in the room and within... More

We recently stayed at the Lime Kiln Vineyard B&B while moving our son to Texas State. Can't say enough about the place! The rooms were clean, spacious and private! For us, it was a big plus that the rooms were detached from the main house. It just gave more of a private feel to our stay. The breakfast the next... More

We stayed in this B&B while moving our college age daughter from her apartment to a house in San Marcos. When I was choosing this venue, my family thought it was "too far out" from the university, but that's what I was looking for! And, it was just a short, convenient, drive from town, but you really feel like you're... More

I surprised my boyfriend with a weekend get away to the Lime Kiln Bed and Breakfast. It was Father's Day weekend and we had a great time. Jon and Laura were so welcoming when we arrived. We checked in and then went to the Driftwood Winery. In the evening we went swimming in the pool and it was so refreshing!... More

First time staying at a B&B, and won't be the last! Jon and Laura do an excellent job of making you feel welcome. We will definitely stay here again. Hotels on I-35 asking more per night than this, and you never know how clean they're going to be; no worries here! Also, we had purchases from the mall and Wimberly... More

This was our 3rd time staying at The Lime Kiln Vineyard Bed & Breakfast, starting with the apartment hunt 3 years ago for our daughter to begin grad school at TSU, later on moving her in, and this past weekend, here for her graduation. Each stay has been so comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable, from the phone calls to make reservations,... More

My girlfriend and I spent the weekend after Valentine's Day at Lime Kiln bed & breakfast. It was very nice. We had booked the Anniversary Package. John met us when we arrived and made sure we had all the sodas and bottled water we needed in the refrigerator. He showed us around the property and told us about some extra... More
