The San Augustine Inn is an older motel and is in the middle of a complete remodel. The Inn has about 60 rooms, 2 story w/ outside entrance to the rooms. “Small-town hotel with multiple personality”

Rooms are large but the beds aren't that great and the towels and linens are worn. Rooms have compact refrigerator and microwave but no coffee pot, hair dryer, or alarm clock. we evacuated becuase of hurricane ike.long story short,it was 3rd world country style even with the staff.im from beaumont ,texas.it was pathetic.glad to be back home in civilization once again.bad experience in san augustine
