It would be easy to rip this place as there are many things that can be improved upon. I had read previous reviews and can confirm a few of the bad parts. Our room had a particular odor, which needed some Fabreeze to cover , there was a smoke detector..unplugged and stashed under the night stand and the small pool... more

Driving up to the room door to park, I noticed litter all over the sidewalk and parking lot. Bees buzzing all over a nasty trash can right outside our room door. I have never seen so many cigarette butts in one place. Floor was dirty and the bar soap was awful. Rockport is a great place to fish and visit... more

The room reeked of chemicals when we walked in. It was so bad we had to get fabreeze. Even though it was a "Kitchenette" you couldn't have paid me to cook on that stove, as if you had anything to cook with. Apparently you have to bring all your own utensils. There is no Sea View as promised but the... more

Me and a buddy wanted to spend a couple nights, but we stayed only one night. Our room smelt like dirty laundry. The fire alarm was just hanging from the ceiling. We stayed our second night at another hotel. The people that checked in next to us left as soon as they opened the door. Our fishing trip was a disappointment. more

The price is right if you're looking for a simple, clean room with good service. Our room was nice and clean with a kitchenette. The appliances all worked. The beds were clean. Its not fancy, but its great for a weekend getaway for fishing and hunting. The only drawback was that hot water was at a premium after the morning... more

My family and i really enjoy the pool and jucuzzi. the view is great and very pleasant The best part is watching the sun rising from the pier. Good fishing, and perfect place for the family vacation. We rented several rooms for a family get-together at Christmas. Our first room had black mold growing on the wall behind the toilet. We were moved to a different room. In another famiy member's room, we discovered that the smoke alarm was not connected to the wiring coming from the ceiling. We reconnected the wires, but the alarm still did... more

There was a strong bleach odor when initially entering the room. However, the tile floor was so dirty that the baby's white socks were black within ten minutes of entering the room. I reported this to the office and was told that the floor was wet, to which I replied "No, it was NOT wet, but it is dirty and... more

Rooms were 70 bucks a night weekend or weekday. It helps a lot because most hotels in the area have drastically varying rates depending on the day you stay. Room was big and beds were made. It is older and had a slight smell to it but nothing major. Plenty of soap, towels, and cups. Each room had an a/c... more

The first thing was the overpowering oder when we opened the door. It was a strong sweet chemical smell that immediately gave me a headache. You could not have paid me to sit on the couch and chair in the living room. The place looked like it hadn't been painted in 5 years. I will say the bathroom was clean... more
