Not everyone's dream. My husband loved the fishing pier. The cost was budget friendly, but you get what you pay for. Not sure I would have been willing to use the stove. Floors and sheets were clean. Its been awhile since they remodeled. Bedspreads need to be replaced. Breakfast buffet had real waffles, doughnuts, toast, coffee, oatmeal, cereal, apple juice,... More

Breakfast at sunrise is an experience not to be missed. Take a seat by the window overlooking the sea, the Gulf of Mexico, and watch the rising sun’s reflection as you tuck into the complimentary breakfast. The waffle maker ensures the waffles are as fresh as can be. Otherwise cereal, coffee, toast etc make up the self-service breakfast. Just a... More

We rented a weekend stay. Single room and no kitchenette. Price was decent. When we arrived we found RVs that appeared to be permanently residing on the premises. We further noted quite a few guests hanging around drinking and playing pool. We checked-in and the owner and his office staff were very nice. When we entered the room we noticed... More

Hello my name is Matthew from Dallas Texas. I stayed at the Sportsman Manor Motel, and I had a nice stay. My brother and I stayed there and would recommend this place to any smart traveler, or fisherman. We cooked out on the grills and enjoyed the swimming pool as well. We had so much food to put on the... More

My friends and family had the time of our lives. Great Parties and greater fishing. The staff stop at nothing to make your stay memorable. We will definitely make this at least an annual event like most of the other people that we had the pleasure of meeting.

This was hands down the worst place that I have ever stayed at in my entire life. The amount of problems I encountered with this place was almost hard to describe. From the mold on the ceiling, the stains on the linens, the pull out couch mattresses having what looked to be dried blood all over it, the air conditioning... More

Holes in the wall, round commode seat on elongated commode, dead roaches in cabinets, tv hangs 4 inches lower on one side. Still food on chairs from last guest. Tv remote doesn't work. Plastic bucket under a/c inside room. Can see outside front door with it closed. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed in.

I stayed one night and the other fisherman that went with me had no AC working in their room. Our towels were dirty and I had to kill the roaches before I could set my food on the table. I was afraid to climb the stairs to the 2nd floor because the stairway was cracked and rotten. Overall it was... More

We stayed 2 nights...nice and quiet, not a busy time so we really enjoyed the quiet. Loved the pier, was in great condition, and I liked how it had railings on both sides of the pier. The only thing I can complain about was the cloudy pool, during the day it would've been nice to have had a nice and clean pool to cool... More

We made the reservation primarily as a couple getaway and secondly as a fishing trip. This is an older two story set of buildings with some renovation and updates, but it could use a little more work done to make it presentable. The staff was friendly and check in was fast. The room was large and open with a stove,... More
