First off, the cabins are so cozy with rocking chairs on the front porch - nice touch. My daughter and nephew really enjoyed feeding the resident squirrels peanuts. The kitchen was well stocked and I was able to actually cook a meal from our catch of the day. Bed was comfortable and restroom clean. The pool was small for the... More

The cottages at Pelican bay are a throwback to the 1960's - I can see our old 63 Impala wagon parked here if I tried. They are a bit dated and tired, but again, three or so years since we last stayed here, they are clean comfortable and functional, especially for the price. Good location too, offering easy access to... More

This was a bit of a surprise. The separate cabin buildings have roomy kitchen-dining area-living areas with a separate bedroom along with a bathroom. Very nice really. Full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, oven, along with dishes, pots & pans, silverware, everything you need. You park your car next to the room and there are a couple of rockers on a... More

We were there for the weekend. We stayed in the mini suites. It was the same as a hotel room. It was fine. The wifi didn't work, but we called the office and they gave us a different login and it worked. We loved the access to the pier. We went out at 10pm for some night fishing. That was... More

Our cottage was cute and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, bed was comfortable, but didn't really like the TV, poor picture. Needs newer model. My favorite thing was the squirrels. They were curious and came running for food. The walk down to the water was pleasant, except for the pesky mosquitoes.

This is a little cottage village. We stayed in a one bedroom, one bathroom cottage that had a living room and full kitchen. It was plenty of room for me, my husband and our small dog. You have a reserved parking spot next to your own cottage, a grill out front and a nice little front porch to sit on... More

I will list the reasons: Broken – Hot Tub jets, pool table in the club house (my kids love that thing), Wi-Fi was horrible unless sitting in the clubhouse, zero cell phone reception either. Dilapidated – The pool maintenance has gone way downhill, walkway to the pier was washed out and littered with beer cans (every one of the 7... More

pros: cute "Mayberry" pastel painted cottages, with rocking chairs and cute decorations. This was the selling point with the good reviews to why I choose to stay here. Fishing lighted pier with benches and roof within walking distance. Full kitchen. Landscaping. Cons: For the price, needs renovations. furniture needs steam cleaning-has stains. Mattresses is thin very worn. Queen bed is really... More

My husband and I stayed here during our wedding weekend. It was like a home away from home. We had 12+ reservations here between family, close friends and the wedding party. We could not have been happier. Daily maid service and roomy space. It was well worth it. Nothing is "updated" but it got the job done. They had their... More

We have stayed at Pelican a couple of times. Last summer June 2015, we stayed in the cottage duplex. We had a wonderful time. It was so laid back, relaxing. We spent most of our time fishing off the pier. The pier is within walking distance. You can park along the road. Yes, the furniture is dated. In my opinion... More
