The cottages at Pelican Bay Resort were so cute and so clean. The furniture is a little outdates and worn but not bothersome at all. The staff was so friendly and courteous. The squirrels were very tame and ate right out of your hand (lots of squirrels). We spent one evening in the hot tub which was very cozy. The... More

We make an annual trip to Rockport to visit family every April, and have stayed at the Pelican Bay Resort for the last two trips. The cottages are very cozy. My husband and I sleep on the full bed in the bedroom and my kids enjoy sleeping on the pullout sofa in the living room. The rooms are kept moderately... More

Wonderful wedding at the Villa. My folks stayed in a nearby cabin on the property. Cabin was nice and clean and very reasonably priced. Villa was very nice, clean. Grounds around the property were fairly well kept up and the staff was super accommodating. I wound up catching a cold and was bedridden the next day, they let us hang... More

We had an awesome time. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We fished on the private pier. Although we didn't catch anything, we had a great time. There is a bait house just a block away. It is just a few minutes from Fulton Beach, the marina & shopping

My family and I visited Rockport this weekend and stayed at the Pelican Bay Resort. We absolutely loved it! We've already decided that when we come back to Rockport we're definitely staying there again! We stayed in Mini-Garden Suite #24 and it was absolutely perfect! The pool, which was literally right outside of our room, was so quaint and beautiful.... More

The location, the lay-out and the design of this small resort are all excellent. The rooms, however, are very tired. Exhaust fan that doesn't work, appliances and TVs that are outdated and furniture and bedding that has seen its better days. Sitting around the pool was superb and the 100 ft walk to the beach almost spiritual. Therefore, the less... More

We stayed in one of the hotel-type rooms (located in the back of the hotel, 2 double beds) for 3 nights over a long weekend. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the staff was courteous, and everything seemed in good repair. This place is motor-court style, with peaceful grounds shaded by live oak trees. (A previous reviewer complained about... More

Very charming setting and great possibilities....too bad cleaning staff seems to care less ----OR the place is considerably short-staffed...been coming here for years, but seems like there is a new "sheriff in town" who is not concerned with cleanliness or upkeep....our tile floor had our socks/ feet black within an hour and our TV screen looked like it had been... We've stayed twice at Pelican Bay now and the location is great for access to the beach. The cottages are nice and we love having the kitchen. I don't understand the pet fee...per pet but I don't think we got anything for that fee. In fact, there was glass chips on the floor that my dog kept finding. The "queen"... More

We stayed in a cottage and found it to be very comfortable. Sleeping four was not ideal, but it can be done. The place is designed more for two. When the sofa sleeper is pulled out, there is very little room to maneuver around the living/dining area. Otherwise, it was clean and affordable. It is situated on a beautiful shaded... More
